Will we be seeing Bucky/Winter Soldier in AGE OF ULTRON?

While many on this site have shown speculation, I thought it best that I organize all facts I could on the subject in a singular article dedicated to said speculation for those who haven't yet heard the rumor; the largely overlooked evidence remains concordant.

On May 25, Rochi Shion AKA Marvel Freshman took to twitter to announce that Josh Young, Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier stunt double, was on his way to England, the same place where 'Age of Ultron' was shooting.

Following the release of this information, Josh Young went to his instagram and posted an image of a then current shooting location which was in England.

This would normally seem uniform for a stunt man to be doing his job, except for the fact that his trip to England coincided with the June 29th filming of 'Age of Ultron' in England at the Bourne Woods.

Sebastian Stan's whereabouts during the filming at Bourne Woods remains unknown.

Do you think a Winter Soldier cameo is inevitable? Whether it be an illusion conceived by Ultron or Bucky back for vengance? Do you think Josh is performing stunts for a character other than the Winter Soldier? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

I hope so, loved Bucky in TFA and TWS, can't get enough of him on screen

Think this was once done as a news article or something and it got taken down. Still, I'd love if Bucky showed up, but I think the most concrete thing to suggest he does is that during an interview, Mackie and Stan were asked if they'd be in AoU and Mackie said, "He is!" then they both looked kinda oddly at each other and laughed awkwardly.

Definitely would be a cool addition to AOU

I strongly, strongly hope not. This movie needs to be about THE AVENGERS, the core team working together as well as the five new heroes being introduced (Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon, War Machine), and Ultron. That's enough for one film. We don't need any other Asgardians or Bucky. It's overkill. It's unneeded and would be distracting. Save Bucky for Cap 3.

Damn, Joss said they was going deeper, not bigger. But that's all I see is them going bigger. It's really frustrating. Let it be the Avengers, not some Avengers army.

I'm kind of hoping not. Seems like a bit much considering how many other characters are already in this movie.

People do realize that a stuntman can be playing literally anyone, right? Just because he was Bucky's stunt guy in WS doesn't mean he can't be Thor's or Stark's stuntman AoU. Or just some red shirt who gets blown up.

Maybe just a cameo. Like a 5 second shot of him fighting Ultron bots. They will most definitely say something like "the citizens of the world have joined together to defend themselves." That's where Bucky goes. A 5 second shot near the end, right before the final battle

I want more Winter Soldier.

It would be cool if he went on a revenge binge on Hydra for what they turned him into, played out as a background through multiple MCMU movies.(And maybe even Agents of SHIELD)

Then culminating in Captain America 3 or 4.

The concept art is showing TONS of Ultron bots. It looks like there's going to be an "all hands on deck" type of fight. The woods scene could be a Cap flash back or it could be Cap and Falcon taking on Hydra. We know that Strucker is in this. It makes perfect sense for WS to be in it, even briefly. I would not be shocked, with a threat this size and the sheer number of Bots that appear to be in the movie that the final battle will have every one, including Colsons team (fan boy hope!!!)
TheBrownHornet - 7/24/2014, 3:10 PM
Looks promising!

If it's true then there could be just way too many characters in Age of Ultron.
