Pretty darn good news for comic fans...
Here's what Johns had to say...

"Yes, Hawkman will have wings. And a big mace. Oh. And he and Green Arrow don't get along. At all."

This is definitely good news for Comic fans alike!

But im guessing he won't look like this.


Since their obvious leather fetish will come play.

Yeah, this season has been an improvement....SO FAR. This is more good news...I think it's good they are integrating more of the DC Universe into Smallville. I'm really looking forward to this episode! And I hope when Smallville is completely done, that they bring back all the cameos to fight against an appearance of Darkseid...and leave the ending open. That would be the way I'd do it.

Yeah, at least the wings and mace. He NEEDS the fkn helmet too. I'm not gonna complain too much until I see the show. I am glad that they are putting the JSA on the show, however they do it. Just don't screw it up!!

Nice! I maybe one of few in here but I like Smallville because I don't look too in depth on o what it's supposed to be. It's a show about Superman pre-Man of Steel. I don't get too butt hurt on what's not perfectly fitting into what happens in the comics. That's just me. Me likey shows, me love lamp.

Hawkman sounds good...lets see what leather outfit they come up with for him. So Im assuming he'll be able to fly let's hope he has that bad attitude also.

SHHH@ Smallville has improved immensely this season!
To me its worth watching! But I never quit watching
'cause I like Smallville and am a loyal watcher even
when it sucks!

All shows suck every now and then but
I appreciate the great episodes! And there is hardly
any superhero shows on TV so I'll take almost anything
I can get!

So Hawkman is one of the JSA for Smallville! That's
great news! At least he will have wings and the mace
and Johns is writing it! It should be fantastic
just like the "Legion" episode was! Thank goodness
for Mr. Johns! :D :D :D

It's going to kick ass. Hopefully they merge The JSA with the Justice League and make a super team for the show. Can't wait.

Wow, so many Smallville-haters on this forum. Nothing on this show is so unforgivably awful that it deserves such spiteful wrath (some won't watch it just to prevent it from having better ratings?! Wow, that's pretty petty, people; it's a comic book show, not the gospel). Too bad that same logic and passion isn't applied equally to other tv shows/movies that are more popular. Even the paradigm, Superman: The Movie, had some serious flaws, which often get overlooked. Pity, the show is quite enjoyable and is wonderfully fresh. Relax and enjoy it, I mean, if we didn't have Smallville to provide us with some sort of Superman, what would we have?
