So, it's been a while since I've thrown out my Man Without Fear script, but CBM user Splenda made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He whipped up this awesome trailer (a-la Joe Carnahan's sizzle reel) for my Daredevil movie and has agreed to make a trailer for each of my movies! Glad to be back, glad for the support. Now, throw your praise to Splenda and Jolt17 for providing the awesome minimalist poster.

Oh, and if you haven't read the script yet...don'tcha think ya should?

The Man Without Fear

I'll go ahead and say that I'm really proud at how this all turned out. The whole trilogy took about three months to write, and both Bobby (Jolt) and Spencer (Splenda) had quite the task on their hands with the side projects. But we're all quite proud that we invested this time for these projects. Good product deserves good investment, after all, right?

I really enjoyed that fan made trailer. It was put together very well. I still say your Hell's Kitchen trilogy is amazing and it's part insipiration for me for my Mortal Kombat trilogy. Which, I unfortunately have to redo because I had to crash my computer.

Anyways, your scripts are amazing, Jolt17's posters are great and that fan made trailer is great.
BattlinMurdock - 10/16/2012, 4:36 PM
Thanks, Lizard1! It's greatly appreciated! Good luck on your writing projects!

Simply amazing, the godfather footage works so well in this trailer, seems like a 70's based movie which I would want for a daredevil movie, that's where I set it in my fanfic, your trilogy is amazing and this trailer is amazing, can't wait to see you do one for Speak of The Devil

Also why have you been gone so long!?!?!
AnarkyInTheUSA - 10/16/2012, 11:47 PM
Trailer was cool, it's just a shame the rights reverted back to MARVEL and they don't do grittier adaptations.

Ya but seriously take a look at this. This a good route to take deadpool. it has a very noir feeling. Noir can generally be a cheaper film to make, you should consider funding it yourself, you finding someone to. Probably just a short, although of course if you could make a feature film that would be better

@Battlin'. Love it man, I read your script sometime ago when it was posted & thought it was right up my street, now with this neatly put together sizzle it's got just the kind of flavour I was talking about ( I've often thought Daredevil's story needs a kind of 'mean streets/ French connection feel to do it any justice, blind or otherwise!). Nice stuff man, nice stuff;)

What's a CMB?

lol, awesome trailer. I really wish we'd get an awesome Daredevil flick from Marvel. I kinda doubt it happens though.

I'll have to read the script.

Pretty good.

That was a great way to start my day- thumbs up from and the six people over my shoulder that just watched it with me. Going to read your script tonight....sometimes a good Facebook or Twitter campaign can make all the difference. So far the sizzle reel is a hell of a lot better than the Carnahan reel.
ImnotDaredevil - 10/17/2012, 6:05 AM
@Splenda^ Sorry man, that goes for you to,nice stuff;)
Tainted87 - 10/17/2012, 6:32 AM
That's one hell of a good job guys. Love the Nicholson line, Splenda.

Battlin'Murdock, I'm gonna finish your script sometime soon, I promise.

Jolt17, love the poster - especially the pale silhouette in the background.
BattlinMurdock - 10/17/2012, 6:35 AM
Thanks to everyone! And I'll say what I said to Jim in my email:

CBM (not CMB as I so hurriedly typed as @Zombie pointed out haha) has a fantastic community of incredibly talented individuals. That's where Splenda and Jolt found me (I've never even met the fellas). So, if you guys have collaborative ideas for this kind of stuff (and the time) look no further than the comment section on one of these articles.

There's good people here, folks. Very good people.

Good to see you're back man! As you know i am a big fan of your scripts and love the writing. Unfortunately for some reason i am not able to view the movie though but i have complete faith that it is awesome and will try again to watch it when i can. That being said I'm loving the collaboration on this site and you're right that there are some great people on this site and talented! Always a joy to stumble across those kinds of people on this site with their Fan Fic. Speaking of which in your absence you havent had a chance to read my 6th issue of my Fan Fic yet and i would really love to know what you think man! here's the link!

@All
I am currently looking for someone who might be interested in doing a little sample art for me for my comics so if any aspiring artists are out there and like my script enough i would love to see some Pre Lim drawings! If you havent been able to read them just go to the link above, all the links are provided there. Can any one here vouche for me and saying its a pretty decent story? lol Anyways hope to hear from someone!

Great Job Splenda and Jolt as well! I really enjoyed Jolts art when you first posted it! Keep it coming guys!
Jolt17 - 10/17/2012, 9:32 AM
Thanks for the kind words, guys! I had quite a good time working on the posters, too, as BattlinMurdock's got cool visions and ideas for me to execute.

UniBeam11: Thanks, man. And, I may be interested in that project of yours...depending on the details, though!
ImnotDaredevil - 10/17/2012, 9:36 AM
@jolt17. Sorry man didn't mean to leave your praise out either! Love it;)
Jolt17 - 10/17/2012, 10:09 AM
ImnotDaredevil: Haha, that's not a problem. I appreciate it, though; thanks! :)

UniBeam11 - 10/17/2012, 10:45 AM
@Jolt17
Well, if youd like to give the series a read and while youre reading you have a good idea for a panel or even a cover id love to see it! Ive gotten pretty good reviews on the first 6 issues and if youd wanna give it a read and a visual strikes you i would love to see some ideas! Keep an eye out here in fan fic because issue 7 is almost completed and there is A LOT of action in it!
BattlinMurdock - 10/17/2012, 1:03 PM

@Battlin
Hey man, thanks for the comment on my 6th installment but i really could use your help on how to properly format it. Id really appreciate some advice because ive just been given the opportunity to pen a short film production that will be submitted in a festival and i feel that with the knowledge and know how to pen a script in proper format would really increase my chances
