Give me an adaptation of Rick Remender run of the series and you may have one of the best comic book movies of all time.

It would still be under the roof of Faux/Fox, no hope for this.

They could just be preemptively registering the domain name before someone else gets it. Doesn't necessarily mean a movie's in the works.

uncanny x-force was one of the best if not thee best marvel comics when it was about, but where the involved a lot of time travel & alternative earths it would be very similar to x-men days of future past.

i'll give it a chance its still early days, nothing officially announce yet.

I suppose that's one way of expanding their own cinematic universe, but I'll be sure to forget about this news until something more credible than a website registration pops up.

@grif
actually the dark angel saga was actually very well written

If this happens, I'm guessing it'll be an earlier incarnation of the team. Would partially explain Sunspot and Warpath in DOFP and give Fox an opportunity to give fan fave Cable the spotlight and give Wolvie a rest.

Yes remender run. But it has to be R rated or GTFO

How much can Fox do with the X-Men? There has to be a limit somewhere.

FOX probably just registered the site in case they want to make an X-Force movie. But who knows... Is X-MenFilms a reliable site (is it run by the studio)?

I hope this is true, but if it is, I'd be surprised if it's one of the Wolverine led X-Force squads. Those teams had a lot of well established characters, and we're very dark. It will probably be more like the 90's version of the team and have younger mutants in it (Canonball, Sunspot, Warpath, Tabitha (by whatever name she chooses), Richter). Could throw in Moonstar, Karma, or Wolvesbane too, if they want to go old school New Mutants.

I can see where Fox would take this. After DOFP a new X-Men universe will have evolved and in the fall out X-Force may be a gritty way to keep the franchise going. This could drag on for awhile as they could go down the X-Factor path as well.

In any case, I would love to see Archangel come to life on the big screen.

@samster10001,100% agree. Remender or GTFO. His run was outstanding. Only reason I got back into the X books. Too bad it all went down hill after it was done. MAKE THIS MOVIE!!!
CherryBomb
CherryBomb - 7/11/2013, 6:23 AM
NO WOLVERINE ... PLEASE. :'(

but I would love to see what team they choose to go with.
PeterDarker
PeterDarker - 7/11/2013, 6:27 AM
@monkeyballs, exactly how would they make an X-Force film without either of those characters? And what does the crappy way Liefeld draws have to do with charaters he hasn't written for in a decade have to do with it?
XmutantX
XmutantX - 7/11/2013, 6:30 AM
YES!! and the line up in the pic would be perfect..one of the best x-books of recent!!
