Transformers 3 : Optimus Prime Gets His Trailer

245am not only managed to take some good photos of a Chicago Filming, but also recorded a video from the filming scene.

While filming in Chicago people have spotted what obviously is Optimus Prime and his trailer. Not only that but there is a pic of Sideswipe and the red ferrari(hopefully Hot Rod).There are also pics of what might be Lockdown and he is armored from head to toe or maybe Axor.

	Is it gonna disappear/reappear when he transforms? I bet all those whining about how it isnt exactly like the cartoon will be happy(changing mediums always change the story arcs, what works in print doesnt always work in film) Its more than likely a MCV or armor. 	From what I can tell it looks like two new impalas and from the history with Bay and GM all the GM vehicles are Autobots. So I would rule out Lockdown as being one of them. LaffaTaffa - 7/10/2010, 9:16 PM
	@ Gaston I truly hope it appears and disappears for no apparent reason like in the cartoons...that was always a staple of the show. Never made sense but didn't matter...one of the worst ones is in the Animated Movie where Prime decides to go rampage on the Decepticons and "Turns the Tides" in that Autobot City War... I just hope it has the proper little gun guy in the back...that little guy with the two barrels and just whips around blasting stuff... Trailer looks bad ass though...on point... Hot Rod (if it is him) needs to have his flames...and I don't think he's the right shade or Red either...he needs to be more Iron Man Red...hopefully they tweak it cuz Hot Rods my favorite character and I'd hate to see enm screw it up..although Bay has messed up pretty much every other character so I'll have to live with my pipe dream. continuezero - 7/10/2010, 9:18 PM

	The two Impalas pictured are the #48 Jimmy Johnson and #88 Dale Earnhardt Junior NASCAR Sprint Cup cars. 	I hope the trailer does disappear and reappear every time Optimus transform in the live action movie just to show the G1 fans how ridiculous and stupid the cartoon actually is! Better yet, why not change Bubblebee face to be identical to how he looks in the show where he basically have a face of a little boy with horns on top of his head? Or your know what? Maybe in Transformers 3, Megatron who is 16 feet tall, transformer into a normal size 9mm pistol and be use like a real gun. Or Soundwave as a boom box?! Starscream as a snow cone color F-15?? 	I'm thinkin that the red car might be Cliffjumper(BumbleBee's Brother), The car with 48 on it might be WheelJack, and the other racer might just be Mirage. Or Red car is Hotrod, 48 is Kup and and racer is Blurr. Maybe, maybe not. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I am glad to see the trailer on Optimus Prime FINALLY. 	@RIKSHAWRenegade, id love to see Grimlock but Bay said he wasnt doing Dinobots, which is a shame. @Tobuttica Dont think the Nascars will be Stunticons but would be good to see Motormaster and Drag Strip but i think it would be better to have all 5 as they could then have Menasor which would rock!!! 	Ok as usual Optimus looks awesome. I have always liked the big Mack Truck better than the flat one in the cartoons. That being said the trailer looked cool as well. But I have to make one complaint the Nascar ones suck. What is with the bristling guns? Aren't transformers robots in disguise? How can a vehicle just drive around and look like a tank? If Bay follows through on what he says about removing most of the terrible parts of the second one, it could be really good. Think about how many parts of RotF could've been removed, and how infinitely better it could have been. That's my hope for TF3. That and bad ass bots and action. 	It about time Long have the transformers fans been waiting to see Optimus Prime's trailer. They should have incorporated it since the first film. I really hope its not something lame like the trailers transforms and grants optimus special abilities because that would blow. 	Might just have to look at simple fact here, if bay only uses GM's as autobots then he's mis-directing the ferrari as an autobot. Remember even in the build up to the first 2 films there was lots of rumours and mis-direction. IMHO the films loosely follow on from the 3seasons of G1. I would say the ferrari is more than likely to be an Autobot as the decepticons never really had any decent sporty cars untill the likes of stunticons came along. With combiners it was devastator then superion then menasor and if you look at the imdb list for TF3 a voice for silverbolt has been confirmed so I would say TF3 will be more bout combiners and seperate bot battles as the other rumour is the evil baddy is shockwave starting to move away from earth towards cybertron with the storyline. Just my Honest Opinion and as fro the Trailer it is real good to see it especially nearly like the G1 trailer. And will probably add as armour like Jetfire did in ROTF gassiusmax - 8/21/2010, 2:56 PM
