That's what I liked about it, too, the casual nature in which it was discussed. You didn't get the feel that Cavill had to think about every word he uttered in fear of revealing something.

Very nice interview, have hopes for the guy, especially form the fact he's not just a carbon copy of Reeves. It's about time a new approach was done.

im pretty sure its been said before looks wise he has "it" whatever "it" is its there but i feel bad this guy is picked to portary my favorite super herobut i never seen his acting skills but i guess they know what they are doing or else they wouldn't be doing it

Try and watch a few clips of him in The Tudors.

You get drawn to him in every scene he's in. He also walks around in capes a lot.

i think he looks alot more like reeve than routh ever did.

hes a good casting choice. i hope wb can negotiate with him to reprise in the JLA movie when it comes together.If not then ROUTH is welcome in my book. Hopefully after flash and wonderwoman are done. Also if snyder is not going to do sequels with this superman...i hope that darren aronofski or of the sorts will step in to give us the sequels that we deserve...leading up to a JLA movie.

I've shared this story before, but what the hell: I was on the set of Immortals and a bunch of reporters and myself asked him about almost playing Superman with McG directing. He talked for a moment about that, but as I sat there watching him talk, he was buffed up for his role in the film, his hair was black and curly and his eyes blue. I kept thinking to myself, "This guy IS Superman." Later I called my wife and told her I was worried; that for the first time in my life I was watching some dude and imagining him in tights....Hmmm. Can't remember if she hung up on me or not.

The more interviews I see of Henry the more I like him. He seems like a really nice, down to earth guy.

Great talk.

He has the voice, but is too babyface for my taste. Hope they make a complete muscle work on him.

And the troopers behind them at 4:20 are phenomenal!

He's gonna be a great Superman! I can't wait to see the first pics of him in the suit! He has already gained the weight back that he lost before doing the EW cover shoot. Can't wait for this!! Cavill IS Superman! XD

lol i doubt hes trying to look like tom welling. i think he will be a great superman. just because he looks nice doesnt mean thats his whole range. actors are meant to be able to act... its pretending. so he can be a damn good superman i think. but lets wait and see what the immortals turns out to be first.

This movie is gonna be good and i think the sequel will be great... Hopefully they can keep it gritty and yes Superman-y (if that makes sense) , but I do want Superman to KILL someone....the exact opposite of punch-free Sup-returns
