A excerpt from the first draft of the Green Lantern script (Spoiler warning)

Warning: This article contains spoilers regarding the Green Lantern film. The scene is the first fight between Hector Hammond and Green Lantern.

For those who don't know, a year ago the first draft of the Green Lantern script was accidently leaked onto the internet. That leaked script still remains online. I had managed to get a hold of it and after much thought I have decided to post a small excerpt from the script. Your comments will decide whether or not I post more excerpts from the script. Note: It is an early draft and from what I can tell, much has been changed. Like Amanda Waller is now appearing in the film despite the fact that she doesn't appear in the first draft. Enjoy:

This is awesome. I have the highest hopes for this film. This movie is gonna rock :)

Thanks for all the info/questions answered on other pages. I followed the link you posted for the quiz to find out which Corps. you belong to, and surprisingly, I too am a Blue Lantern (I was sure I would be a SS). I liked it because unlike most quizzes, the answers are a little ambiguous so unlike most other quizzes, it's hard to choose answers to try for a certain result :)

Starsapphire, extremely interesting! So Hammond forces Jordan to become a villain, eh? Now THAT is an interesting twist, I would love to see more of this script...

I for one do am not gonna watch this since they cast Taika Cohen for the role of Thomas Kalmaku. Thomas Kalmaku is an eskimo and not Maori... I spoke with Adam Beach and they just stopped talking to him about the role F**ked up.. I am eskimo and really wished they chose at least a native actor for the role.... I dont care how pretty Ryan Reynolds is... I am not gonna watch it... I am lying i will probably watch it hell probably a midnight screening... but still F**ked about adam douches who do not want to hire real natives for native roles
