The studio behind the remake of "Nightmare on Elm Street" has announced a trailer will be shown in front of "Zombieland," which opens on October 2nd.

This means fans won't have to wait much longer to see Freddy Krueger's new interpretation on film.

The film is set to released next year on April 30, 2010

coincidentally, re-watching the old series now...lovin' it! They really established a scary origin for him, and I am curious to see what the new take looks like. I see the red and green costume is gone? hmm...not sure is like that

I haven't seen the original films in years but i will check them out before the new version is released next year.

As for the costume, i think the one above is just an overcoat of some sort that he wore behind scenes or whatever because there's a pic of him dawning the outfit we are used to

@Leee777...When that trailer hits they better not disappoint or I'll label it a failure such as how they ruined my beloved Jason with the recent interpretation.

I have a lot of hope set up for Rorschach so let's see how this trailer pans out on October 2nd because I'll be in the theaters checking out Zombieland.

I know that the trailer will be good but sometimes the trailer is the best thing about a movie.

@Minotauro That clip is hilarious. LOL

That's very true though...sometimes a trailer can make or break a film and other times the trailer could potentially be the best aspect about the film because once you see the film, you wonder if the trailer was showcasing an entirely different movie
