Behind The Scenes Featurette of James Cameron's "Avatar."

You've seen the teaser, the four minute trailer and now here's a behind the scenes featurette of the "highly anticipated" film.
Some will view the promotion of the film and consider Avatar to be hyped beyond recognition, whereas others are anticipating the film with open arms. Whichever side of the fence you are, here's one more display of the film being promoted with interviews and scenes you may have not seen as yet.

Avatar is a story James Cameron has been working on for roughly ten years He is also responsible for such blockbuster films as "Titanic," "Aliens," "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Currently his domestic take as director is over $1 billion so there's high expectations for Avatar's production budget of $200 million being earned back along with a substantial profit.

Avatar opens in theaters on December 18, 2009.

Didn't he do True Lies as well?
BmanHall - 11/2/2009, 7:04 AM
Yeah, Bman.

This will be a fun movie! It'll no doubt compensate for the crapfest of 2009's summer block of movies. The only thing that was really good out of it was District 9.

@Tea-LOL!!!

You guys do realise that True Lies was a remake of a French film called "La Totale", right?

why in the featurette aren't they mentioning that he ripped of 1959's "They call me Joe" by Poul Anderson?

see what I mean here and here

Noob- They'd need an entire BLU RAY disc to feature everything Cameron ripped off of!!!
Shaman - 11/3/2009, 7:42 AM
you are right... but still did you read the articles? I mean it's basically an adaptation of the exact same story, regarding the rest he could always claim that it's a mashup or a remix of old ideas into a new one. But this... well just seems cmd + c, cmd + v (for all you pc users ctrl + c, ctrl +v)
