@dmm5- Mandarin NEEDS to be in Iron Man 3, he's his arch nemesis. And to be honest one thing I've disliked about the current IM franchise is the fights are basically Rock em Sock em Robots. There needs to be diversity.

...FRACTION IS DOING SOME AWESOME WORK IN IRON MAN STORIES, STARK ERASING HIMSELF, LOSING EVERYTHING THEN COMING BACK AND STARTING FROM SCRATCH WITH STARK RESILIENT, ALL STILL TECH BASED.



I THINK THIS IS ONE OF THE FACTORS THAT MOVED FAV TO STEPPED OUT, IT WAS GOING INTO THE FANTASTIC, BEYOND REACHABLE TECH, I BELIEVE THE APPEAL OF IRON MAN IS THAT THAT TECHNOLOGY IS OBTAINABLE IN TIME,



YOU THROW MAGIC OR ALIEN RINGS INTO IT AND YOU LOSE THAT CERTAIN LEVEL AND GO TO A PLACE WHERE EVERYTHING IS JUST PLACED IN THE MIX AND YOU LOSE WHAT THE 1ST TWO IRON MAN MOVIES HAD..



I DUNNO IM OPEN TO NEW STUFF THOUGH AS LONG AS IT WORKS..AVENGERS IS BIG, SURE THROW IN MAGIC AND WHAT, ITS AVENGERS. BUT WHEN YOU GO BACK TO IRON MAN ITS THE TECH STORIES, THE GENIUS IN IT I LIKE..

One thing that annoyed me about Iron Man 2 was Whiplash's final armor. Seeing as how Ivan Vanko was a combination of the Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo characters, why couldn't they at least paint his final armor red? Instead of the COMPLETELY forgettable design they came up with...

Iron mans most exciting sequences from the first film are when he is fighting adverseries who use conventional weapons. The scene with the two jets, or the terrorists who take over the town. Imagine if he had to take on an entire country like North Korea, that would freakin rock.

We don't need a fu man chu guy with magic alien rings.

Hopefully this movie will be awesome. I loved Iron Man 1 and 2 except the last fight scene in both. Honestly they both SUCKED!!

TIH last fight was great

and I am sure Thor will be awesome. Hopefully Shane Black gives us an awesome fight for Iron Man 3!

Whiplash was too much Iron Monger at the end and don't get me wrong- love Mandarin! Just having it all work out troubles me a bit... Side note: Would love to see the birth of Ultron in Stark's basement for the last credit scene. Easter eggs of early production in computer screens and what not lol just saying

@MarkV except that Mandarin's rings arent magical in the slightest. If i just wanted to see a guy with fancy gadgets, i would watch james bond. No offense, but considering your name and icon, I'm assuming that you've never really read the comics and just watched the movies.

I know about Hank creating Ultron but it'll make a great story for this franchise

Then again it's a great way to introduce Pym into the Avengers and Ultron being the main villian for the team.... (takes notes) lol

Hmmm, interesting. I think IM2 would have been a lot better if Favs could have done what he really wanted to. Wasn't he complaining about having to make all the Avenger tie-ins and what not? Don't blame him. But can't wait for IM3. Hope it's better than IM2 was... Pretty disappointed with that one. Not terrible, just average, IMO.

If they break the pattern of the villain using an Iron Man suit, I'll be happy with that. And if they finally make Stark more mature. The irresponsible stand-up comedian should be out of the characters system by now. He should be more stern. By Iron Man 2, He's become the comic relief for his own movie to the point where the suited Iron Man looks like it couldn't possibly be piloted by goofy Stark.

If it is going to be family friendly then to hell with Iron Man movies. Did anyone play the new Iron Man 2 game? The plot is flawless: Ultimo vs. War Machine and Iron Man. Also an army of robots become self aware, its bad ass. Iron Man 2 was good, but the cop out Dynamo at the end was beyond stupid.
