The Joker's Challenge Map Revealed In Latest Batman: Arkham City Trailer!

GameStop has revealed a brand new teaser for the upcoming video game sequel Batman: Arkham City featuring The Joker's Challenge Map, plus we have a first look at 'Sinestro' skin and some bad news for PC gamers. More after the jump...

Couple of Batman: Arkham City news...First up, if you pre-order the game at GameStop, there is a pretty cool bonus: The Joker's Carnival Challenge Map. Check out the video below:



Then we have this first look at 'Sinestro' skin (via Play3-Live.com) that will be available on Green Lantern Blu-Ray:



And finally, according to PC GAMER, the PC version of Batman: Arkham City is delayed until November:

"We’ve just heard from a Warner Bros rep that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City will be delayed. There’s no release date set, yet; it’ll be arriving at an unspecified date in November. No reason was given for the delay to the PC version of the game, which was originally planned to be released alongside console versions on October 18."

Batman: Arkham City is set to be released this October.



The story for Arkham City takes place one year after the events of Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, former warden of Arkham Asylum, has taken credit for stopping the Joker, and used that notoriety to become mayor of Gotham City. As neither Arkham nor Blackgate Prison are in any condition to hold inmates, Sharp buys out a large section of Gotham's slums and arms the perimeter with private military contractors from a group called Tyger in order to create "Arkham City". The prisoners are brought into Arkham City and are given free rein, as long as they do not attempt escape. To oversee the city, Sharp uses psychiatrist Hugo Strange who appears to have his own secret agenda for the city. Batman maintains a vigil over the city, worried that the situation may get out of hand. Part of the setup for "Arkham City" was contained in plans in a hidden room in Sharp's office in Arkham Asylum.

Can not wait, but I pre ordered mine through Best Buy for the Robin playable character...but I'm sure they'll all be available a few weeks after release....OH MY OCT and NOV will be quite buzy with this game and then Battlefield 3 and MW3...OOOH MY Xbox will be singing!!

I think she did a pretty good job on the voice and sounds quite close to Arleen's Harley.

@ MrEko - tru dat...I've had every iteration also...nothin' beats the playstation it was the first...and will always be the most superior console...

But Xbox live is well better...

OH and this game will be mine...my own...my precious...

Seriously girlfriend aint gonna get a sniffing when this comes out!!!

I´ll wait then for the PC version, as i´m still playing "Spiderman Shattered Universe" on it.

Gosh, i´m finding "Spiderman Shattered Universe" quite hard,
can´t defeat the first boss, Kraven, the camera shakes so much, i guess i´ll have epileptic seizures with so much spider jumping.

I love the first game and this one looks to be even better. I have one petty complaint that not many of you would agree on. Whenever I picture Batman fighting I always seen him as a smooth, strong moving fighter that used his base and footing to gather power and violently beat the crap out of people. He stayed on the gound mostly unless nessassary. Robin (Dick Grayson) was the one who used speed and acrobatics to make his opponents dizzy and off balance. Robin flips over people and uses kicks mostly because his size would make that an advantage. Batman sidesteps and rolls to make up distances.

Just my opinion growing up watching Batman:TAS.

Playing most kinds of games on the PC is horrible/stupid anyway. (RTS/MMORPG being the obvious exception)

Damnit, I hate exclusives D: I dont want to get a ps3 just to use the Sinestro Corps outfit. I hope they realese it as dlc later.

The new Harley sounds a lot more like Arleen's version than I was expecting. I already pre-ordered this from HMV, so no Joker map for me... although I get the Arkham City comic with it, and some other stuff too :D

@MrEko same here, don't really care for X Box, and Nintendo's consoles are fun for the first month or so but they get boring fast. Playstation all the way!
