Joe Johnston and Marvel's comic book adaptation Captain America: The First Avenger starring the Chris Evans was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 25, and according to The Numbers.com, in its first five days film sold 1.5 million Blu-Ray units ($40 million) and made another $12 million on DVD (726,235 units). Great numbers indeed. Captain America: The First Avenger made the most out of all superhero movies this year, beating THOR, X-Men: First Class, The Green Hornet and Green Lantern. Hopefully, this is another step forward to the still unannounced sequel.
