UPDATE: New Character Banners For Marvel's The Avengers Revealed!

Yahoo! Movies has revealed two awesome new banners for Joss Whedon-directed comic book adaptation The Avengers, featuring Captain America, Bruce Banner, Iron Man and Thor. Updated with high-res images!

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Nice! It's simple. Focused on the main 4. I like it!

The suits really seem to stand out. (Particularly Iron Man & Thor)

Still don't like Cap's uniform. I was hoping that they would darken the suit a bit in post-production, but it looks like that's the final result. How unfortunate...especially after the get-up they gave him in The First Avenger, that was awesome.

I'm sure we will be getting another banner with Hawkeye. Widow, Fury and Loki..maybe Maria Hill if they don't use the villain.

Considering the other poses and the fact that we have actually seen his suit in action I still like it while I do think it may be problematic making it so bright its a good suit and its close to the comics. I mean I'm fine with it.

Nice. Green tint on Bruce's skin. I like it. But this looks like a poster for Alcholics Anonymous Association of America or AAAA for short.

Not a fan of Cap's poster at all. That pose just looks very awkward.

The rest look cool enough though, especially Banner's.

Pretty cool although where is Black Widow and Hawkeye? but still very cool... and Banner looks a ton better than he did last time... :) Plus all of them are in different positions than usual... so I'm like this:

They should remove the A from cap's helmet and make the blue a little darker but apart from that can't wait

Oh I got it on yahho itself.

Favorite is Hulk, I like how they just show Bannner with a green tint, just teasing us. actually kinda reminds me of Superman, the way hes holding his glasses like hes about to take it off and rip open his shirt, lol.

Second is Cap, nice action shot, Thor and IM are allright, nothing spactacular imo.

FRICK YES!!! I love all of em!!! Sep Iron Man, his face looks weird on that one, shoulda gave him his helmet. But Banner takes it for me, he almost look creepy like a Dr. Jeckel and Mr Hyde look.

Yeah, either replace Banner with his greener side, or put Hawkeye in there (even tho Renner kinda does look like a hobbit)

Personally i love the Black Widow character, but only if she's ACTUALLY portrayed as Russian. Johansson, not so much :/
