Like most teenagers his age, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past together he uncovers a secret that his father held...a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man. This is the first in a series of movies that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story. On July 3rd, 2012, the untold story begins.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Sally Field and Martin Sheen, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to hit theatres on July 3rd, 2012.

TheDpool - 12/18/2011, 3:35 PM
But cool poster but reading the synopsis for the movie is it me or is this sounds less like a spidey movie?
DeadPOoly01 - 12/18/2011, 3:38 PM
God dang! That's better then the "real" posters we've been getting lol
Moseephus - 12/18/2011, 3:40 PM

Fans often make better "promo" artwork than the studio's marketing department does.
continuezero - 12/18/2011, 3:45 PM
@3d Good point, probably just a bit more care and attention to detail from fans doin promo work.

continuezero - 12/18/2011, 3:47 PM
This movie looks good, I love Spidey so I'll watch regardless but I hope one day we get a less emotional and more aggressive Spidey on an Epic Scale that will allow for more use of his unreal gallery of Villains. As great as this series will likely be, I doubt we'll get the Sinister Six. Hope they do a series one day where they allow it...maybe more on the Avengers scale as far as a large movie able to hold all the characters.
BIGBMH - 12/18/2011, 3:53 PM
Awesome poster! I like it a lot more than the last one that came out.
thewolfx - 12/18/2011, 3:55 PM

superotherside - 12/18/2011, 4:00 PM
Hahahaha... I when I came to CBM just now and saw a TASM article I was like, "Yes, Trailer!" But then I read the title and I was like oh a fan made poster oh well... still very cool poster.

@PaulRom Epic poster although I don't like how the lizard is done, even though it's official concept art... hopefully on film it won't look like that... lol.
SuperboyPrime1 - 12/18/2011, 4:07 PM

prad18 - 12/18/2011, 4:52 PM
Nice. Reminds me of the "Choice" poster released for Spiderman 2 with an unmasked Spidey looking over the city with the mask in his hand. Epic.
LucasMend - 12/18/2011, 4:53 PM
epic. but the one PaulRom showed is pretty amazing too!
Bandrews1 - 12/18/2011, 5:01 PM

GLprime2814 - 12/18/2011, 6:35 PM
Is it me or does his costume look extra scaley?
BlairCo - 12/18/2011, 6:36 PM
Who knew that fan-made posters look better then Offical Posters?
superman78 - 12/18/2011, 7:44 PM
Very well done. I have often said that if one of these studio execs had their head on straight, they would hire a fan-boy-type to direct the promotional efforts of a comic book movie. I have seen so many good pieces of art on this site that it blows my mind. Great job Hobo95.
TheSoulEater - 12/18/2011, 7:46 PM

Well done...here is your zero dollar...better still your 'No prize'!

xXkryptoniteXx - 12/18/2011, 10:47 PM
Kudos to the designer for that, Sony should buy that from you
AlSimmons - 12/18/2011, 11:09 PM
I don't understand why everyone thinks this movie sucks just because of the costume. He has friggin' web shooters and GWEN STACEY for crying out loud. This will be closer to the comics than Raimi's films ever were. The suit is an aesthetic. The story, and more importantly, the characters are what matter. Would you all rather Batman wear his out undies on screen? No? Then shut the hell up.
AlSimmons - 12/18/2011, 11:12 PM
That's a combo of the Spider-man 1 VHS box art and a TASM screen shot. Still good though.
NeoBaggins - 12/19/2011, 12:57 AM
"He has friggin' web shooters and GWEN STACEY for crying out loud."

Well holy hell, man. Why aint you say so? That makes this the Spider-man the best of the best. Gwen Stacey and web shooters? Oh yeah, this is definitely better than the Raimi films and more true to the comics. I haven't seen this movie yet, but it's much better.
ComicBookGoth - 12/19/2011, 6:30 AM
i'm just hoping its the film equivalent of the Animated series from the 90's.

Unionjack - 12/19/2011, 6:49 AM
Looks good enough to be real!!!
007440 - 12/19/2011, 7:00 AM

ALFREDORENEANGEL - 12/19/2011, 7:42 AM
Did he shorten the neck?
Odin - 12/19/2011, 8:07 AM
My only problem with this movie is that stupid version of Spiderman-costume, I hate it.
Number1Wolverine - 12/19/2011, 8:17 AM
AMAZING!
Minghagz - 12/19/2011, 8:25 AM
Sorry, but I'm not really impressed.
