New Full-Length Trailer For PROMETHEUS Debuts!

20th Century Fox has released a great new trailer for the Ridley Scott-directed science fiction horror film Prometheus, starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron. Check it out...

In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
















Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green, Prometheus is set to hit theatres on June 8th, 2012.

hell yeah that looks pretty damn good, i just hope ridley scott doesnt alter the continuty we were given from aliens, because this is his vision he did the first one maybe he never wanted the universe to take the direction it did

It is a prequel to Alien. You can clearly see a face hugger in the trailer. Not to mention the hologram of the derelict space craft they found the space jockey in. The movie looks good. Can't wait!

Well I saw the derelict space craft crashing on lv-426...last I checked that would be a precursor to 'Alien.'

In a year with so many highly anticipated films Prometheus is at the top of my list and it looks like Scott's going to deliver. Great actors, stunning visuals...we just need a great story and resolution thereof and 3D that equals the level of those amazing visuals.

I still wish RS would NOT revisit BLADERUNNER. The original was what one of my exes would call 'all of a piece'. Any more or less would ef it up. Hope I'm wrong.

The film I think has more to do with the beings responsible for the aliens and not the aliens themselves. That's why I think we won't be seeing the xenomorphs too much and why Ridley keeps downplaying the Alien prequel aspect, so fanboys won't get their panties in a knot when they don't see any aliens

I hate to say this, but you all realize that this movie probably won't do well in the theaters right? Unless you're a fanboy that trailer did very little to let you know what the movie is all about. It basically looked like another run of the mill sci-fi movie, and sci-fi movies typically don't do well unless there is some sort of hook to bring in the audiences. Normal people aren't going to realize this movie has anything to do with the Aliens movies so they won't go and see it.

With all that said, this movie looks pretty sweet!

Also..the scene with the facehugger in her little cosmic tanning bed, yes the facehugger was cool and all..but I know I'm not the only one who stopped caring for it after the first few seconds and simply appreciated the view. :D

Grat trailer. I love the Alien franchise, all I can do is to thank Ridley Scott for making an "Alien" movie that I will be able to watch in theaters.

I see people writing about a "Alien movie" with no alien. Well maybe its a sidequel, a story that exist in the same world as alien. Much like how the movie Soldier exist in the same world as Blade runner. Maybe the face sucker is nod to that world like the spinner was a nod in Solider.....or I could be in nerd overload.

Are you thinking straight? You don't have to spell out what everything in the film's about when you have something as intense and intriguing as that trailer and I ain't a particularly huge Alien fan. People who saw and remember the originals are still alive and there's plenty of in-betweeners who've grown up with the Alien films.

All of a sudden they have 3D digital computer displays and touch-screens that the original Aliens movies had nothing even close to.

..continuity, discipline, Special FX and prequels do not go together; the Star Wars movies proved that!

Think of it this way the ship in Alien was a mining ship with low class workers on it. This ship is a science ship for exploration. So even if it is years before the events of Alien it would make sense that it would have all the bells and whistles.
