In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.


Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green, Prometheus is set to hit theatres on June 8th, 2012.

That headline BLOWS! They've stated numerous times before that Ripley has nothing to do with this movie. Media sucks sometimes. Besides that and Mel's smug grin, great cover!

Thanks, man. I assumed as much, but I wasn't positive.

I know it's just a spiritual prequel (they still using that term?), but I like how the tech we've seen in this film is way times more advanced than what we saw the Colonial Marines use in Aliens.

yeh there is only one ripley.....and shes looks cool in the trailers but i do agree with @greengo she is kinda fugly...at least in this picture

It's funny how that small image of Riggs & Murtaugh Carries just as much weight as the image of Noomi Rapace in character. And yeah, I'd be down for one more Leathal Weapon movie!

The texture of the costume is similar to the one on First Class and Amazing Spiderman, but looks fine. :D

She aint pretty and she has the worse tits I've ever seen on screen, they're like deflated baps! She's also tiny as hell, she comes across like a small boy trying to pass as a woman.
