In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.

That looks cool :)
Dev7 - 4/12/2012, 6:16 PM
This is VERY similar to a movie with Justin Timberlake called In Time.

clogan - 4/12/2012, 6:39 PM
If you look closer, you'll notice that Josepth Gordon Lewitt has make up on to look like Bruce Willis...
DCnerd46 - 4/12/2012, 7:36 PM
JGL does a pretty good vocal impression of Bruce Willis. The makeup to physically resemble him looks very fake though. Not too shabby overall, it'll probably be a rental for me.
SigmaCenturion - 4/12/2012, 7:50 PM
@ Dev7
In Time had nothing to do with time travel. It was about controlling the amount of time a person lived.
Alexandre - 4/12/2012, 7:53 PM
this director has yet to [frick] up.
his films are sometimes [frick]ing confusing, they definitely need more than a second viewing to get but he so far has made two very good films and i have no doubt this one will be his best
cclevidence76 - 4/12/2012, 7:56 PM
Amazing!!! Kiddies.
AUSSYACE - 4/12/2012, 9:19 PM
It's a rental at best...
TheRationalOne - 4/12/2012, 10:10 PM
Grif - It doesn't look anything like Minority Report. Completely different premise.

And it doesn't look like In Time either. What, now every sci-fi movie looks the same to you people?

What do I mean "you people"?
AsianVersionOfET - 4/12/2012, 10:25 PM
YES. YES. AAAAAAAAND YES.
jordanwilhite - 4/12/2012, 10:33 PM
Really, really excited for this. JGL is becoming one of my favorite actors, and you really can't beat Bruce Willis.
Seejay - 4/13/2012, 12:05 AM

Interesting.
TheSoulEater - 4/13/2012, 12:15 AM
I'll see this!
Jolt17 - 4/13/2012, 12:56 AM
Looks great. I've been interested in this movie since I first heard about it, and here's to hoping it will fulfill my anticipation.

Also, I notice Gordon-Levitt also kind of looks like Brad Pitt in that make-up?
SUPERBATSPIDERMAN - 4/13/2012, 1:06 PM
Movies about time travel are always the best because it is such a complicated thing. This looks awesome Willis and Levit are great actors.
GreyChaos13Zero - 4/13/2012, 1:35 PM
when he shot his future self seemed like his back was made of gold, or that's really bad editing. great find tho, interesting?)
mgeoff88 - 4/13/2012, 4:05 PM
This looks really interesting. I'm keeping my eye on this.

I just wish they didn't have JGL wear a prosthetic mask.

I know they did it to make him look more like a younger Bruce Willis, but they didn't have to. He already looks similar to him.
