Billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island. He has been changed by his ordeal and must hide the truth about the man he's become while making amends for the actions he took as a boy. Arrow premieres this Fall on The CW!

At roughly 3:22 is that a flash of Deathstrokes Mask?

And I think this looks promising, looks more grown up that Smallville, and respecting the fact it has a TV budget looks like they have done quite well.

@Yoss Not sure what your point is, like you said she doesn't know comics. So I would be sure she'd make plenty of mistakes when asked about the world of comics.

@DeathMetalBrian Maybe that is just how it starts, plus I think after Green Hornet and Green Lantern they have had to distance themselves from people making the association.

Also by calling him Arrow, people who are not familiar will also not just connect it with the Smallville version of the character.

I have to say, this is one time I have to agree with the change.

Actually there is, the character's name is Green Arrow..it's like making A Booster Gold show and calling him Gold. [frick]ing dumb if you ask me.

It looks ok. Not anything special thou.

Things which annoys me most are that they didnt bother to make Oliver Queen look like Oliver Queen or Constantine Drakon look like Constantine Drakon who shows up in 2:32 with that bald Lex Luthor guy.

That being said it doesn't look TOO bad. A bit of ropy dialog and acting but I guess you can't hope for miracles on The CW. Love that Deathstroke tease.

The only things i didn't like were the voiceover and the sister.

It's a TV show on a small network, lighten up people!

This is no Smallville. Seeing Green Arrow kill some dude by snapping his neck to protect his secret... absolute win. It's CW way of saying: 'we're not in Kansas anymore'.

I'm not a big fan of Green Arrow, but I'm checking this out. Anyways, it's not like we're going to be getting a Green Arrow movie or seeing him in the Justice League any time soon.

@YMN - I'm not as annoyed by the name anymore. Frankly, I'd like to see more comic book based tv shows as I hate waiting for movies; preferably on some premium or cable channel.

The fact that it's a "color" has nothing to do with it, which is why I made the Gold comparison. The character's name is Green Arrow, if you're gonna make a tv show based on him, you should call him Green Arrow. Just pointless to drop the first part, whether it's a color or not. There is no argument.

Love the look and feel of it so far. I also found it funny how many Smallville sets are redressed the Luthor Mansion, The Daily Planet offices, the metropolis city back lot. I'll give it a watch in the fall.

Also it would be cool if at some point in the series they adapt that Super-Max spec screenplay that was floating around for a few years that was centered on Oliver Queen.

dropping the green is stupid it is like calling Spider-man just.... man,Iron Man nope new movie is just called ....Man!, Black Panther nope Panther, Wonder Woman nope new show is called wait for it Woman!!!

Dude, do you honestly think that a real life vigilante would call him self the Green Arrow or the Golden Avenger? A single grimacing name is probably simpler and more realistic.

Not having Green in his name doesn't make any difference as to whether the show will be good or bad. The acting, story, action, pace, etc. are what will make the show good or bad. I actually thinks it is definitely worth a watch. Looks good to me, whether he is Arrow or Green Arrow.

That trailer was much better than first one.

The music could've been better, but the new footage was good. I don't know how I feel about him killing bad guys though.

And I liked seeing Deathstroke's mask. That was a nice touch.
