First Teaser Poster For James Mangold's THE WOLVERINE Debuts!

A really cool first poster is now online for the James Mangold-directed film, The Wolverine. Described as a "Japanese noir picture with tentpole action", the film once again features Hugh Jackman as the title character. Check it out!

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.



Directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Svetlana Khodchenkova and Rila [frick]ushima, The Wolverine is set to hit theatres on July 26, 2013.

Looks pretty bad@$$ to me. Love the style for this poster. Here's to hoping, HOPING, that this will be the Wolverine film. Also, does it look like Logan is wearing some type of samurai skirt? Kinda looks like this to me...



I don't know. Something similar to that. I maybe wrong, though. Still, it's pretty bad@$$, nonetheless. :)

Comparing to the Origins picture, he actually looks smaller in the new drawing. And the hands are bent a bit more, but apart from that its the same.

Interesting take. I wouldn't expect a poster like this from Fox but hopefully this symbolizes a different thought process on their Marvel properties. I dig the poster.

Looks incredible, love the minimalist style.
2012 has been an incredible year for comic book movies, and movies in general too. I don't think 2013 can top some of the great films we've had -
The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Dredd were all fantastic.

I wanna see a Wolverine movie with a costume and have him sluaghtering everything wit a smile on his face this is not gonna be that movie
