IRON MAN 3: 'War Machine' Mini Bust Revealed; New Promo Art Surfaces

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?









Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black. The film is set for May 3, 2013 release.

I like the look of Iron patriot a lot, but I feel like we haven't seen enough of the original War Machine suit to change it already.

I hope War Machine goes back to his black and grey/silver paint job before the final battle in IM 3.

I am bummed the mini gun is gone in place of a predator style shoulder blaster.
I really like how Rhodeys armour turned out in Ironman 2, other than the lack of shoulder mounter missiles.

The new War Macine armour (classic grey version) looks infinitely better than the version in IM2. They seemed afraid to get too far from Iron Man's basic look in that one. But this is very, very cool.

Actually, come to think of it, the shoulder/traps area could be bulkier (like it was in IM2, I *think*) but other than that, far better.

I like the new IM armor, but Im not feeling the new War Machine. Not bulky enough.

The only discrepancy I see in the bust is that it has the AF logo. It should have the Marines logo instead. Rhodey was a Marine in the comics.

When I first saw all that gold on the first photo of the new suit I was a little scared, after seeing it the trailer I loved the way it looked. It could be just growing on me but I lobe the designs for this movie so far. I think I think the patriot armor will just be a way to introduce rhodey to the public and at the end he will say screw it mang I gotta save tony I'm friggin war machine!

I liked the Iron man 2 war machine design much better, he was bulkier and he had a lot more arsenal.
