Fancast: Batman Movie Spoof

Fancast: Batman Movie Spoof

Completely Satirical. Ala Meet the Spartans, Scary Movie, Date Movie...

With the HUGE success of Batman Begins and TDK (and TDK Rises I assume) we will surely get a spoof of some kind. I hate spoofs. The only one I’ve ever enjoyed was Spaceballs. That being said here’s the spoof I would at least let my nephews drag me out to go see.

Produced by Judd Apatow
Fun with Dick and Jane, Knocked Up, Superbad, Walk Hard, Drillbit Taylor, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers, Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Pineapple Express, Year One, Funny People, Get Him to the Greek, Talladega Nights, The Cable Guy, Freaks and Geeks

Directed by Adam McKay
Anchorman, Kicking & Screaming, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, Land of the Lost, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, The Other Guys

Batman Spoof

Played by

Paul Rudd (the blueprint for the straight guy in his movies, he could sell the goofy straight man that is the Bat)

Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Dinner For Schmucks, Role Models, and I Love You, Man.

Gordon Spoof

Played by

Will Ferrell (I can’t stand him for thew most part but this part is all him)

Anchorman, Kicking & Screaming, Starsky & Hutch, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, Land of the Lost, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, The Other Guys. Megamind

Alfred Spoof

Played by

Adam West (c’mon, he knows how to laugh at himself and he’s a must for this movie)

Batman the Series, Family Guy

Rachel Dawes #1 Spoof

Played by

Kristen Wiig

Wiig made her big screen debut in Judd Apatow’s 2007 comedy Knocked Up as a passive-aggressive assistant. She also performed with John C. Reilly in Jake Kasdan's Walk Hard, another Apatow-produced film. Despicable Me

AND in the middle of the movie if not mid-sentence the actress changes with whomever she converses with looking very confused (it should be brought up many times from then on) although she acts as if everything is normal

Rachel Dawes #2 Spoof

Played by

Tina Fey (the 2 women share similar comedic tendencies and would be a riot)

Date Night with Steve Carell and SNL where she has worked with everyone of these actors. Megamind

Ra’s Al Gul Spoof

Played by

Jason Segal (he seems like the best caricature for Neeson in this group)

Known for his work with producer Judd Apatow on the short-lived television series Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared, the movies Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, and I Love You, Man. Despicable Me

Scarecrow Spoof

Played by

Russell Brand (another one I dislike, but pyisically he embodies Crane)

Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bedtime Stories, Get Him to the Greek, and most recently, Despicable Me.

Carmine Falcone Spoof

Played by

Adam Sandler

You Don't Mess with the Zohan. The film was written by Sandler, and Judd Apatow (who was an old roommate of Sandler's when both were starting out). Bedtime Stories. Funny People. Click. Happy Gilmore. Big Daddy

Lucius Fox Spoof

Played by

Craig Robinson
He is best known for his roles on The Office as Darryl Philbin and in the films Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Comissioner Loeb Spoof

Jack Black (he could do graet with the angry/small part)
Anchorman, Envy, Walk Hard, Tropic Thunder, and Year One, The Cable Guy, Tenacious D, Kung Fu Panda

Det. Flass Spoof

Played by

Jonah Hill (he’s a must, another one that is funny in small parts but gets on my nerves in a big role. This is small enough)
The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Walk Hard, Superbad, Funny People, Strange Wilderness, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Night at the Museum

Mr. Earle Spoof

Played by

Danny McBride (he’s a supporting actor and he’d do just fine here)
Hot Rod, The Heartbreak Kid, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, Observe and Report, Despicable Me, andLand of the Lost. Frequent collaborator with Will Ferrell and Craig Robinson

Harvey Dent Spoof

Played by

Ben Stiller (completing the trifecta of the Godfathers of the “Slacker/Frat Pack” of comedians here) (would’nt it be hysterical to watch Stiller go overboard and SNAP!!! Ala Harvey Two-Face. I’m a huge fan of him and I think he would steal this movie)

The Ben Stiller Show (principal writers on The Ben Stiller Show were Stiller and Judd Apatow), Happy Gilmore, The Cable Guy, Anchorman, Tenacious D,The Heartbreak Kid. Tropic Thunder, Envy, Starsky & Hutch

Sal Maroni Spoof

Played by

Steve Carell (angry, uptight, perfect)
The Office, Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, Date Night and Despicable Me. Horton Hears a Who!

Joker Spoof

Played by

James Franco (I 100% disagree with those that think he could actually portray the Joker. His tired eyes would be all wrong. However, as a spoof his comedic talents would be ideal)

Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, Datenight, Freaks and Geeks

And the rest your going to have to barewith me as I believe additions to the TDKR will include 2 females and 2 males

Villain 1 Spoof

Played by

Seth Rogen (If Will Ferrell is the Vito Corleone of this group than this guy is Michael, so he’s in for sure)

Freaks and Geeks. He was guided by film producer Judd Apatow toward a film career. The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Knocked Up. Observe and Report, Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, and Funny People, Horton Hears a Who!

Villain 2 Spoof

Played by

John C. Reilly
Tenacious D, Walk Hard, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers

Female 1

Played by

Leslie Mann
The Cable Guy, Freaks & Geeks, Big Daddy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Drillbit Taylor, Funny People. Mann is married to producer Judd Apatow

Female 2

Played by

Mila Kunis
Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Date Night

Love the idea of Rachel changing mid movie! But dude! You don't like spoofs? I know the recent ones are a letdown but Spaceballs, Airplane, Hot Shots 1&2 are all comedy gold!

Pretty good!

It is nice to see a quality cast make it to the front. I agree with all of these. This would be a high quality spoof. But for directors, why not the man who perfected spoofs?

Mr. Mel Brooks himself.

Great cast over all! Very funny.

Wow, made FRONT PAGE. Well Done!

Although I think I might be getting a bit of DEJA VU. Have I seen this before?

Anyway, really funny cast. Ferrell as Gordon = CLASSIC!

It sounded interesting until you mentioned Meet The Spartans and Date Movie. I still feel my gag reflex kick in anytime someone mentions those atrocities of cinema.

I would watch that movie! Good casting.

But yeah, those Meet The: and Scary/Date/Movie crowd are the most unfunny garbage to be spewn from Hollywood. The Wayans brothers have sucked every last drop from Satan's pecker. To refer to them as satire implies that they carry some weight. They are SHATire.

This is actually really funny, but if it's in the same vein as Scary Movie, why not cast a different Rachel Dawes for every scene she's in?
