Wow. I was checking out the zbrush website today and found this gem, created by an artist called farazmobin. It is called "Desert Storm Batman." The Warner/DC/Nolan's people need to see this guy's stuff. head on over to zbrush central.com tho see some more awesome stuff! They have tons of comic inspired works.



Here's hoping that farazmobin puts this guy to good use.

Cool! That suit looks awesome! I hated the one they used in the dark knight, it made batman look so tiny and UN-muscular. I was suprised that he actually lifted up the joker during the interrogation scene.

cool design and all, bet it took a ton of work. But i dont like it, this is going back to the crap the old batman movies kept doing where every movie they would add more and more lines onto the suit and make it look more cluttered to the point where the bat symbol completely disappears and your left with a batman cowl and a halo suit

It's ok. I like the urban digi-flauge pattern.

...but it reminds me too much of the accelerator suit from GIJOE.

Lol if batman was in the desert, he would stick out like a sore thumb in all that black. Also spider-man would be completly useless in the desert!

That is a very cool design though

Eww... Bruce dosent need that armor... Not unless they are going to being bringing in a very sick (good) Bane into the next movie. And if they do.... that armor better have a good back brace! :O

JaySchluffy - If Bats was in the desert wearing that, standing out will be the least of his worries! He best have a fully stocked drinks cooler under that cloak or he ain't lasting long!

It looks pretty cool but I can't see why he would need it. Bullet proofing from Deadshot maybe?

Someone said they like the head better the tdk's...but I think the digital model is based off of tdk...the cowl and head look identical to me.

Yeah guys this isn't all that different from The Dark Knight suit - just slight texture and tint changes.

But love it all the same even if it is kinda pointless.
I’d like to see a suit similar to that seen in the game Arkham Asylum.

It might be a fake...the head looks very similar to the head of Batman from the Batman Begins videogame!

However, its pretty cool anyway! :)

anyway now the batman movies are more concentrated on storyline..(they are awesome but like to see more batman kickass action in the movies...)

Awesome armor concept, but waaaaay too much for a Batman franchise movie, unless........... They decided to do a BATMAN BEYOND movie! That armor concept would fit perfect for that! Bruce could have resorted to using a cybernetic power suit in his old age after years of crimefighting that resulted a strong but broken body. Terry McGinnis could don the suit in the futuristic Gotham and superpowered villians. My thoughts...

Hey, thanks for the comments guys! I don't think it's intended to be used in any movie or game. The creator made it as part of a comic con challenge. He said the inspiration for the suit was the first tumbler in BB that had the cammo paint scheme.

Maybe it's for the future for when he starts getting older. It's his final suit before Batman Beyond starts. That'd be awesome.

Looks cool but way to damn heavy. I couldn't see him wearing it unless it was for a specific purpose. And what the hell is up with the camo?

that looks too heavy, the dark knight cant move quick in that. It may be good when fighting Bane, but otherwise it would make batman look too big. it is good artwork though.
