HTF: So outside of what you know and can’t say, what would you like to see happen, what kind of continuation for your character and Thor at the movies would you like to see?

Jaimie Alexander: Well, what I would like to see, and I honestly, I don’t really know the storyline of the sequel or anything or everybody’s participation in it. We still don’t know, but I would love to see things progress between Thor and Sif. I think that’s the natural thing for me to want to see. But I’d also love to see Beta Ray Bill. If, if they were gonna do that, that would be awesome, and I’d love to see,, you know, I’d love for the audience to be able to get to know Sif a little bit better, just from my point of view, you know, and maybe a little bit of history between the queen and Sif, or the king and Sif, and a little bit of back story there about how they grew up and that kind of stuff. So, we’ll see though. I mean, Marvel’s, Marvel’s got their own agenda there and they always execute it perfectly, so.

Who is Beta Ray Bill?
Beta Ray Bill is one of the best characters in the Thor comics. At first introduction most viewers only saw him as a yellow horse-faced monster, a future villain for sure. That assumption was wrong.

Beta is part of an alien race called the Korbinites, and the most important part of the his story is that he is one of the few creatures that is able to pickup Thor's hammer, Mjolnir (Meow Meow). The hammer carries upon it Odin's enhancement which reads, "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."

So it was quite a surprise to the readers that this monstrous creature was worthy of Thor's hammer. It was a nice twist. Thor wasn't too keen on Beta Ray Bill at first, and a great rivalry between the two ensued. After the battle between the two, Odin stepped in and granted Beta Ray Bill his own hammer, called Stormbreaker. As for Thor and Beta? They became friends, forming one of the most powerful alliances.

No, because that character is a joke. Billy Ray Cyrus, Mr. Ed and Thor had a three way, and the after birth was Beta Ray Bill.

@rosco71: any character from the watchmen looks like the stupidest character ever!

And Sara Jessica Parker for the horse face win!

Beta Ray Bill and his space ship Scuttlebutt should be in the ending credits of thor 2 leading into thor 3 or avengers 2

Idk, War Machine in Iron Man took away the uniqueness of Iron Man because it was two of them now, the same would happen if Beta appears in Thor

And the best part of casting her is that they would save some money on the makeup/prosthetics and whatnot because there would be very little required:)

As much as I like Beta Ray Bill, I just don't think the actual character would adapt well to film for the mainstream viewer. For us comic book fans...yes. The storyline may adapt, but they would need to do a superb job visually in order to bring the character across well on screen. Not sure about this one.
