I'm with you on that one 0mega, best part of Wolverine origins
HurricaneXavier - 5/10/2014, 2:13 PM
X-Men movies need more Cyclops.
DEVLIN712 - 5/10/2014, 2:13 PM
I'd rather Fox did an All New X-Men type of thing and brought a young team forward to the future
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/10/2014, 2:15 PM
I don't care what she says. I really, truly don't.

I have become so attatched to the original cast.
LOVED the majority of the casting in the original X Men.

McKellan, Stewart, Janssen, Marsden and Romij were flawlessly casted.
Even Anna Paquin as Rogue is good, she proves on True Blood she can play a sassy, feisty Southern belle, it's just down to bad writing for X Men.

I would love to see a solo Gambit movie with Anna Paquin back.
MrBlackjack - 5/10/2014, 2:17 PM
I'd love to see more of the original cast, but I find unlikely.
CherryBomb - 5/10/2014, 2:17 PM
I just hope once Jackman is done, they ignore Wolverine for a while. In-fact, I hope they wait a good amount of time before recasting or rebooting him or whatever. Focus on the rest of the X Men.
DrDoom - 5/10/2014, 2:18 PM
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF as if. It's not going to happen.

Rogue & Gambit

CherryBomb - 5/10/2014, 2:22 PM
Let's face it, Rebecca is ready to come back.
In 2014 she looks incredible. Definitely in Mystique shape. But I feel sorry for her, with J-Law being so popular I doubt they'll have her back as Mystique. Would love to see her as a Horseman.

0megaDaGod - 5/10/2014, 2:24 PM
Rebecca will always be better than J-Law

Which is strange because J Law has an oscar
TimL - 5/10/2014, 2:26 PM
Deadpool Rated R or bust. Nightcrawler back for Apocalypse or bust.
McNyagano - 5/10/2014, 2:27 PM
Deadpool or GTFO!
koolaidbag - 5/10/2014, 2:28 PM
"Deadpool (you have my attention) will eventually punch his way to the screen (YES), I think (and you lost me)."
CherryBomb - 5/10/2014, 2:32 PM
Jennifer is a much better actress, she's really talented but Rebecca had the sheer sex appeal, mysterious quality and darkness in the way she just looked at people in a scene that J-Law doesn't have.

They do have some resemblance but Jennifer would've been a good Jean Grey.
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/10/2014, 2:33 PM
Everyone make an account over at PRN forums right NOW. It's lonely. I hear tumbleweeds.
SniktBub - 5/10/2014, 2:36 PM
They need the real First Class team, Second Genesis team, and Gambit. That is all
billnye69 - 5/10/2014, 2:38 PM
Maybe with the new timeline Cyclops won't get treated like crap just to give dumb f*** wolverine more screen time.
JoJo1982 - 5/10/2014, 2:38 PM
Should put on the back burner(do a Wolverine 3 is a goodbye to Hugh)

And make Cable the star of the franchise since he can travel back and forth though time. Help out the x-men, leader of X-force, had his own solo, and even popped up with Deadpool for a team up. That's what Fox needs to do
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/10/2014, 2:39 PM
Lol Tucks you should check it out. It's a nice (although half-assed) little thing he set up. I CAN'T MAKE A [frick]ING ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT'S A BITCHLY SITE though.
SidTheSloth - 5/10/2014, 2:39 PM
Thats what he was yapping about DEV?
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/10/2014, 2:40 PM
By the way Pasto says you can eat dirt.
TheBestAndy - 5/10/2014, 2:40 PM
I'd love to see a reboot with an entirely new cast but still a fairly classic line up - Xavier, cyclops, wolverine, storm, beast, gambit, rogue, jean and maybe even night crawler and colossus. Have them be an established team and take on a major villain we've not seen - Mr Sinister maybe? You could bring in the savage land here and show a side of the x man universe we've not seen...I remember the 90s cartoon did this arc and it was something totally different to either magneto or the sentinels. They also captured the essence of the characters pretty well too! Something I think we'd all agree fox has done sporadically at best!
AlexanderLykins - 5/10/2014, 2:41 PM
I tried setting up an account and it didn't work.
DaVinci31 - 5/10/2014, 2:41 PM
@Omega

Agreed.

Fox is in kind of a predicament.

They can't really reboot after Apocalypse because The Wolverine 2 with Jackman still has to come after (unless it really is some Old Logan type of story arc where it's just himself). Plus, they just cast some of the best talent in Hollywood right now with McCavoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence to just shelve it away.

In comparison, they really can't (story wise) continue with this timeline because Apocalypse has to be their big load, their Thanos, their big build-up. And also, because they're probably going to erase the whole 00's "X-Men" movie timeline (the present-to-future timeline in other words) within DOFP, assuming from what the presence of that final stand type of scene we see from the trailers implies. Which, would then only leave Charles, Eric, Wolverine, Quicksilver, Mystique, and the other First Class characters in a new timeline (in the 70s), which no one would probably be interested in seeing.

It's a clusterf*ck of confusion, just like Primer'stimelines.

And it gets even more tedious to think about when you weigh in if whether or not FF will have a crossover with this franchise.

HypeMusheen - 5/10/2014, 2:42 PM
"PARTYIN' AT PASTO CRIB, HAHAHA"

charlie2094 - 5/10/2014, 2:43 PM
Just do Deadpool already!

Honestly, I was kind of hoping after First Class and DOFP that they'd take the franchise in a new direction. First Class was almost a fresh start...I like the original cast, but feel like they're not sure what they're doing with the franchise, just taking it one film at a time. Might be wrong, was just hoping they would try and create a better continuity and such
DrunkenNukem - 5/10/2014, 2:43 PM
hahaha Fox is keeping the X-men for at least 10 years more
MrMartinMarvel - 5/10/2014, 2:43 PM
Just made my account, this is going to be interesting.
maninfinesuit - 5/10/2014, 2:44 PM
Mistake. Should have used the First Class sequel for a clean reboot.
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/10/2014, 2:44 PM
ShadowPimp apparently.
AlexanderLykins - 5/10/2014, 2:44 PM
@ShadowPimp723
It says my username is already being used. Who the [frick] would be using AlexanderLykins already?
Ineedrevelation - 5/10/2014, 2:45 PM
no to the shit original cast. No Halle Berry EVER! And no more Hugh Jackass.

This is Wolverine...

SugarYumYum - 5/10/2014, 2:46 PM
As much as I love Marsden, FFS NO.

These films will never have a chance to get on the track to greatness if you keep holding on to the mediocre [frick]ing past. REBOOT. RECAST. MOVE ON.
maninfinesuit - 5/10/2014, 2:46 PM
And yeah, get the [frick]ing Deadpool movie off the ground. Hard R, with this guy.

Ranger14 - 5/10/2014, 2:46 PM
Cue the music.. "Too much...too little...too late..." Cyclops is already two films overdue. Vaughn tried justifying leaving him and the other First Class out of First Class by saying they could be introduced in the next First Class sequel. Nice try.
