ABC have released their program schedule for Agents Of SHIELD and Agent Carter, revealing that Agents Of SHIELD will move forward an hour and will now air at 9PM on Tuesdays. While no weekday is confirmed for the upcoming Agent Carter, it was revealed that the show will serve as a bridge between the mid-season finale and mid-season premiere of the show.
This would mean that there could potentially be a thirteen week (three months) gap between the fall and winter portions of the show, it also means that any GMT fans of the show will be forced to watch the show at 2 o'clock in the morning!

"Providence" - With Colonel Glenn Talbot now on their trail, Coulson and his team seek refuge in the last place anyone would look, where they begin to uncover S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most dangerous secrets--secrets that could destroy them all, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

SWEET!

Not going up against NCIS should help with the ratings. Not sure how I feel about having a full 12 week break between episodes for Agent Carter to run but it could actually turn out good for the most part

Can't wait for tonight. Heard BIG things go down

I don't understand. There's not gonna be 12-13 weeks between the mid season finale and the mid season premiere. Can someone explain this?
Ruhail - 5/13/2014, 9:00 AM
Thats some good connective shit, yeaaaaaah!
GliderMan - 5/13/2014, 9:00 AM
I mean damn that's a 3 month break. They wouldn't do that.
McNyagano - 5/13/2014, 9:01 AM
Yes!

ezio619 - 5/13/2014, 9:01 AM
coolllll, also very few new shows seems interesting from, the new show from cbs that i am interested in is SCORPION,NBC is Constantine,FOX is Hieroglyph and Gotham ,ABC is Agent Carter and CW is the Flash
AlphaAndDecima - 5/13/2014, 9:02 AM
Well [frick]. If Supernatural keeps its Tuesday time slot, I'm gonna have to drop AoS.
soforizo - 5/13/2014, 9:04 AM
12-week break? Why not make Carter a summer show instead?
charlie2094 - 5/13/2014, 9:04 AM
Sounds good! Great way to fill the gap in the show.

Glad Agent Carter is a shorter season as well, cuts out a lot of the filler and padding. Excited about both shows! Will have a comic book show almost every day later this year, between Constantine, Gotham, iZombie, Flash, Arrow, Shield, Carter :P Awesome stuff
Spock0Clock - 5/13/2014, 9:05 AM
Maybe a 9pm time slot will free AoS up a bit, as well. Even in this era of relatively unchecked network freedom, people can still get weirdly prudish about "family hour".

Now that the NFL has expanded their Thursday games to CBS, the only viable nights for shows are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Smart move!!!
Bekss - 5/13/2014, 9:06 AM
Maybe now they'll make each half of the season like if it was the complete season.
JoJo1982 - 5/13/2014, 9:08 AM
Arrow
Walking dead
Agents of Shield
Flash
Agent Carter
Constantine
Gotham
DareDevil

Next season is going to be pretty busy :D
AxeEffect - 5/13/2014, 9:09 AM
not a bad move at all, then again I watch online so it's all the same for me lol
ezio619 - 5/13/2014, 9:09 AM
JOJO-daredevil and the other netflix shows dont come out till 2015
soforizo - 5/13/2014, 9:09 AM
12 episodes is a great idea though. Long mid-season breaks have never been pleasant for me: BSG or BB.
0megaDaGod - 5/13/2014, 9:09 AM
This also means we'll get no breaks AT ALL. Life is good
Bekss - 5/13/2014, 9:10 AM
JoJo1982

DareDevil will be just 12 hours in one day.
themidnightking - 5/13/2014, 9:10 AM
Nice, I can't wait. Season Finale tonight as well!
ProfessorX - 5/13/2014, 9:11 AM
Fantastic news! This way there won't be all those mini-breaks we had this season.
ezio619 - 5/13/2014, 9:11 AM
u have a feeling that arrow and flash will now air back to back on wednesdays since tomorrow people is now cancelled and arrow is their biggest show right now
ProfessorX - 5/13/2014, 9:14 AM
The split season is exactly what they did for season 3 of Once Upon A Time, except we'll have Agent Carter to bridge the gap.

That part is very positive. I hope Daredevil comes at the end of AOS at the latest.
Bekss - 5/13/2014, 9:15 AM
if each half season have it's own "finale" it maybe will be better.
Like Heroes, which had volume 3 and 4 in season 3.
soforizo - 5/13/2014, 9:15 AM
Like year long programming.
PsyGuy - 5/13/2014, 9:16 AM
Although that means more waiting for Agent Carter... I bet it'll be worth it!
soforizo - 5/13/2014, 9:17 AM
@Bekss

True. As long as there are no big cliffhangers, it's not a bad thing.
ezio619 - 5/13/2014, 9:24 AM
i got six comic book shows to watch now in Constantine, AOS, Arrow,Agent Carter, Gotham and The Flash, they will hold me over and give me my fix till age of ultron comes out since i am not going to the theaters in january till april of next year cause no one film released in those months interests me so my first film of 2015 is gonna be age of ultron
Dud - 5/13/2014, 10:00 AM
Happy they did this!
jmitch713 - 5/13/2014, 10:02 AM
Has anyone heard anything about the Hourman series??
FantasticSpidey - 5/13/2014, 10:08 AM
if a show is going from 8PM to 9PM, we would call that moving back an hour, not forward an hour.
kevberg - 5/13/2014, 10:14 AM
THIS is a BAD move. I love the show and I REALLLY dig Agent Carter and wanna see it and see it survive but they did this with Bones and The finder and all it did was piss Bones Fans off so they WOULDNT watch the Finder ( a friggin great show ) .

ABC commit or dont---but dont half ass it.
fortycals - 5/13/2014, 10:15 AM
Great move. I hope wb(cw for the youngins) will move supernatural to 8. They can probably use that as draw for whatever new show the have. Then let arrow be a draw for flash. Never thought I would see the day when comic characters could be watched throughout the week. I almost have up on tv, with the rise of reality tv.

Nice...not that it matters for me being I Hulu it, but that should help with the ratings some.
