Move over Hunger Games, The Avengers have Assembled! The Avengers should be the #1 movie of the year! There were so many amazing moments it's hard to be able to put them into words. I walked out of the movie and all I could say was "WOW!". First off there were people in the line who had gotten to the theatre at 3 am MTN time. After Disney handed out the bracelets and started allowing people inside,the intensity from everyone standing there was overwhelming.

The lights went out in the theatre and the intensity of the excitement just blew the roof off. What we saw in the trailers was not even half of the amazement this movie brought to the table. Between the action scenes and the hilarious dialogue, the movie was pulled together perfectly. The Avengers had its serious moments, but even with the seriousness of some of the scenes *including the action ones* there were still laugh out loud moments. Something I noticed that other people left out was the 3D part of the movie.I don't know if those people saw it in 3D but today I did. The 3D made the movie that much better! I recommend that everyone who goes to see it watches it in 3D. It brought you into the movie, very few movies actually do that these days.

Going back to how the trailers only show a fraction of the amazement. You barely see Black Widow or Hawkeye in the trailers, and saying that they wouldn't have made a difference if they were in the movie or not is so untrue. Without any one of the characters the movie wouldn't be what it actually is. Although these two characters aren't as big as Iron Man or The Hulk, they have really great moments that show their strengths. I read somewhere that Marvel Studio executives said that "This movie is not Cinematic enough." well to be honest they obviously don't know what a good movie is supposed to actually look like. Joss Whedon did better than i could have ever imagined.

This was the best movie I've ever seen.Incredible,awe inspiring,and just monumental in both scope and importance.The best action scenes,over the top and surprising. It will surprise you every step of the way.Bottom line its a flat out no holds barred,60mph,beast of a ride. From beginning to end I had a smile on my face.

Thank you Marvel Studios, and thank you Joss Whedon.

You are a sad individual who has yet to see the film.

The guy on hot toys' fb page asking for thanos from the movie had more spoilers in his post.

That is good for him. I don't need to describe every scene in the movie to prove my credibility.If you want to know something you can ask.

"This was the best movie I've ever seen" :D Haha.

You must not of seen many films then.

BTW. I'm looking forward to this. It looks great. But I'm not that deluded.

@ModernAvenger

That statement is subjective. It could be the best movie gerry has seen in terms of what he looks for in a film. It doesn't have to be Shawshank Redemption for everybody.

However, I'm positive it will be the best MARVEL movie I have ever seen, to say the least.

@gerryg08

I feel like the latest scene with Cap and Thor fighting back-to-back, something dramatic has happened. What can you say about that? Also, which characters were your favorite to watch interact with each other in action sequences and/or dialogue?
Noble6 - 4/15/2012, 3:37 PM
PS Not looking for spoilers! :P
ModernAvenger89 - 4/15/2012, 4:01 PM
@Noble6 I never said it had to be Shawshank, great movie though. Don't get me wrong. THis movie looks great. I cannot wait.

"However, I'm positive it will be the best MARVEL movie I have ever seen, to say the least."

Your positive? You have not seen the film. Why see it if you already know how you feel about it?

Just be excited, like me. :)
Noble6 - 4/15/2012, 4:08 PM
@Modern I'm positive, brother! Excited doesn't cover it! LOL

How about confident? That's a good word. I'm sure you have been following the production and every snippet of info since the beginning like myself. So far, I believe it will deliver. And then some.
ModernAvenger89 - 4/15/2012, 4:19 PM
@Noble6 Haha. yes I have. Like crack addict wanting more I have felt that little high when watching a new Tv spot. I cannot wait for this film. In Whedon I Trust! If you don't watch Firefly/Serenity. The evidence that he could handle multiple characters and have great dialogue. You agree?
Noble6 - 4/15/2012, 4:53 PM
@Modern I've been told I need to watch Firefly! Just haven't gotten around to it yet. I did not know much about Whedon when he was tasked with the Avengers, but I soon realized I was out of the loop on some fantastic creations by this gentlemen. With his background and the fact that he is such a diehard fan, I can't wait to see the final product.

Like you said, great dialogue between multiple characters - that is what we need.

In Whedon We Trust.

I was at the one in Chicago But I'm saying much :)
gerryg08 - 4/15/2012, 6:45 PM
@noble6

Thank you,and that's exactly right it was everything I look for in a movie. Let's just say that things don't look to be going there way,anymore and it would be a spoiler. Action scene wise I liked the interaction between hulk and Thor,whether its together or against each other.The dialogue throughout the movie is great.
GeekyCheekyChic - 4/15/2012, 7:06 PM
saw it in nyc yesterday- don't spoil it for the love of all that is holy my friends are begging me for the dish and the movie is too good to not want them to see it 'cold'. The trailers barely scratch the surface,the dialogue makes this movie click and everything fan boys and girls have been asking for got it almost as if Joss reads the boards or something. Obviously it's the internet so if you Google you can pretty much get the whole movie laid out for you. I have to go back Midnight screening and the almost every day after that for at least a week. If the rumors I read are true about the additional scene they shot then the movie is the end all and be all of Marvel films(it already is their best outing though and it makes me wonder what could have been done with Fantastic Four and X-Men in the right hands)
Noble6 - 4/15/2012, 8:50 PM
@gerry Do we see Asgard? And lastly, Jane Foster? Any mention of her or do they just blow that off? Your vagueness is appreciated ;)
gerryg08 - 4/15/2012, 11:58 PM
@noble6

Lets just say Jane Foster is mentioned but doesn't appear (in person).But no Asgard,at least we'll have Thor 2 for more of that =)
gerryg08 - 4/16/2012, 12:01 AM
@thebaroness89

Yeah people are going to be blown away by this movie,can't wait for that to happen. And I'll be doing the same,watching it multiple times in the first week.
