Based on the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank 2008 release "Superman: Brainiac," SUPERMAN: UNBOUND finds the Man of Steel aptly handling day-to-day crime while helping acclimate Supergirl to Earth’s customs and managing Lois Lane’s expectations for their relationship. Personal issues take a back seat when the horrific force responsible for the destruction of Krypton – Brainiac – begins his descent upon Earth. Brainiac has crossed the universe, collecting cities from interesting planets – including Supergirl’s home city of Kandor – and now the all-knowing, ever-improving android has his sights fixed on Metropolis. Superman must summon all of his physical and intellectual resources to protect his city, the love of his life and his newly-arrived cousin.

Produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, SUPERMAN: UNBOUND film arrives May 7, 2013 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment as a Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, DVD, On Demand and for Digital Download.

The voice actor for Supergirl would've made a perfect Mary Jane

scrw superman. screw batman. screw the JL. why not make something that doesnt involve them for a change? or hell, even if you do, use it as a platform to introduce more characters to a wider audience via supporting cast.

Funny, when they were first casting MoS, I said Stana should've been Lois in that.

Instead we have Adams, a fine actress with the wrong look and zero screen presence.

The artwork for this movie is ATROCIOUS, they have been getting worse and worse. I didn't think Superman could look worse than he did in DOOM, but they did it.

Remember when these DC movies adapted the art style along with the story?

*sigh*

By the way, I don't think this style looks so bad - besides Superman's teensy head - but I'd love to see Gary Frank's Christopher Reeve-inspired desgn.

No, Jane Levy would be the perfect Mary Jane. But alas, we're getting a good actor instead of a pretty face.

Really looking forward to this. Between Superman Unbound, Superman Unchained, and Man of Steel, it looks to be the summer of Superman.

Yeah, I just watched the movie last night. Possibly my favorite of the Superman animated movies (the only one that might beat it is All-Star Superman). The animation is done in YJ style, but I think it looks really sharp. Though Superman's head being really tall and narrow was a little strange, but I consider that a very minor complaint. I was especially impressed that the movie had dialogue between two female characters about something other than a man (a situation that is more rare than you might expect...seriously, think about it) not once, but TWICE!

It's a really good movie, I liked a lot better than SUPERMAN VS THE ELITE. The animation is good as well.

She was awesome as Lois. Once again Andrea Romano hits it out of the park with both Nathan Fillion's fellow Castle stars.

Could Stana play Wonder Woman? Hmmm.
