Eliza Dushku Doesn't Have A Role In The Avengers. Yet!

The actress reiterates that she's neither contacted or heard from Joss Whedon about a role in the 2012 superhero ensemble but does comment on the Scarlet Witch rumours and reveals that she'd love to be an Avenger...

"I don't want to kill anyone's fantasy, but I think he's working with an unbelievable ensemble cast over there," she told MTV News in a recent interview. "I don't know, it might distract him from his new project. Maybe some others from his usual actors, but I have not made a call to him about being in 'The Avengers,' no."



The site also report that Dushku is a fan of their suggestion of the Scarlet Witch (which she described as "definitely kind of a fantasy") but revealed that she has her sights set on some other characters as well: "It's just like a giant pool of awesome characters. I guess, maybe I shouldn't throw it out there and jinx it, like what happened with Black Widow. Maybe I talked about it too soon!"

"I think Joss and I have a lifelong connection and friendship and affinity with one another and for one another so I say absolutely, I expect to be in Joss's world and have him in mind down the road."

She could play a young unknown SHEILD Agent Maria Hill. Setting up her stint later on as director before Stark Takes over??

Yeah, I could see Dushku as Maria Hill but I'm not really that familiar with her past work so am not bothered either way whether or not she'll be in the movie to be honest! :P

I don't know about Scarlet Witch....she will need an accent and I don't have faith in American actors and actresses doing accents. But she is so damn sexy!

Hmmmmmm...idk about scarlet witch...looks-yes, accent-idk. not to mention if u put her in there U HAVE to put quick silver in there as well. But im VERY dissapointed that the PYMS have been given the boot! I love black widow(scarlet Johanson hoooooooot...) and hawkeye, but come on ur takeing out important, founding avengers and putting in(no one get mad) secondary avengers. So i think its cool there'll be a good roster but just wish that the Pym where in it...
