Via his Facebook page, Joe Cuzan who I assume is working on the movie judging by the following pictures, has posted a pile of images taken from the Georgia set of X-Men: First Class. Included in these are a close up look at the remains of the Blackbird, what appears to be Matthew Vaughn (notice the guy in the cap and sunglasses just below the aircrafts door in the first picture) and a storyboard of a character that might just be Riptide involved in some sort of fight scene.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, X-Men: First Class is expected to be released on June 3, 2011! If you have any information or photos you'd like to share with CBM, click on the "Contact Me" link at the top left hand side of this page.

looking cool. I bet first trailer for first class will be around super bowl
Ibz - 12/23/2010, 6:55 PM
wasn't riptide part of the marauders, it really does kinda get annoying when they throw in random mutants. but i will check this out simply because of vaughn
JoshWilding - 12/23/2010, 6:57 PM
Thanks guys. After watching the Kick-Ass special features last night, and seeing what a passionate/devoted/enthusiastic director Matthew Vaughn is, I worry that I might be proved wrong and that X-Men: First Class will end up being good. Doesnt excuse the fact that they're messing around too much with the source material mind.
Ibz - 12/23/2010, 7:04 PM
@JoshW have some faith in vaughn the guy did walk out of X3 because the studio were trying to [frick] shit up too much but i agree they have made some drastic liberties with the source material but we'll just have to wait and see i guess, But so did the first 2 and IMO i thought they were good movies, maybe not good adaptions but i enjoyed it
GUNSMITH - 12/23/2010, 7:04 PM
AT FIRST I THOUGHT"YOUNGER" MEANING OH THEY MIGHT BE DOING ANOTHER TWIGHLIGHT TYPE THING..BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY SURPRISE ALOT OF HATERS. I WANT FOOTAGE.
P862010 - 12/23/2010, 7:04 PM
well the original trilogy messed with source material as well lol

no angel or beast apart of the original x men

iceman a student instead of part of the team from the get go

changes with the costumes

liberties with certain characters

but people did'nt care because they were quality movies
superbatspiderman - 12/23/2010, 7:07 PM
I am looking forward for this movie I am sick of all of these people putting it down calling it First Ass and all that stuff. I think it will be good. I am mostly looking forward to the flashbacks with Xavier and Magneto McAvoy and Fassbender will be great in the movie.
Ibz - 12/23/2010, 7:09 PM
@Superbatspiderman whate you flash backs are talking about
JoshWilding - 12/23/2010, 7:10 PM
P862010: Good points, but I hated the original trilogy. Bryan Singer's movies were worse than Ratner's IMO for all the reasons you list and more! :D I worry about him being so heavily involved with this movie, and how much his influence will effect it's final outcome regardless of the director.
Codeseven - 12/23/2010, 7:10 PM
the movie looks like it might have more action than the first 3 x-men movies (which is great!). but with them not using the original 5 x-men i won't pay to see it. i'll download it online. to hell with fox!
superbatspiderman - 12/23/2010, 7:16 PM
IBZ- I am just sayin that I can't wait to see MAgneto and Xavier as younger characters they will probably be the best parts of the film.
JoshWilding - 12/23/2010, 7:19 PM
[frick] Fox is still how I feel though. It'll take more than one half decent movie by a great director to win me around after shit like Fantastic Four!

Guys, check out my FLASH Fan Cast! Just click the link! :)
Raffman - 12/23/2010, 7:28 PM
to be honest I do agree that some of things of this movie is just not what everyone expected , and we saw how bad Wolverine was , and yeah it was bad...but lets not compare these two movies together, lets all wait for at least a teaser trailer that is soon to come, then we can bash this film all we want, for now lets just appreciate that they are making a film for all of us to see and judge when it comes out.
dahamma - 12/23/2010, 7:30 PM
i usually never call down negative judgment on a movie, but man, I think this gonna suck, big time
adamdusza - 12/23/2010, 7:37 PM
@JoshW, Source material? Really? You worry when source material is constantly changing and they can't keep anyone dead longer than a few issues? You are all hypocrites. Not even Nolan stays with source material. Who is Rachel Dawes? Or look at how he handled the creation of Two-Face. Or how he killed of Ra's al Ghul even though he is immortal because of the lazarus pit. Thats right he did his own interpretation. Deal with it people.
Ibz - 12/23/2010, 7:47 PM
@SUPERBATSPIDERMAN thats cool dude, so am I, i just didnt get what you meant by it, i gotta feeling fassbender will do justice to the role of magneto

@adamdusza some great points dude, but some people just wont listen to that sadly
superbatspiderman - 12/23/2010, 7:52 PM
adamdusza -You preach it man I agree 100% movies are an interpretation of how the directorand crew want it to be.
MrDoctorD00m - 12/23/2010, 7:56 PM
@ Raffman I agree. I am looking forward to this movie because of Michael Fassbender! If he wasn't cast, then I wouldn't give a shit! LOL
P862010 - 12/23/2010, 7:57 PM
@Josh yeah but the difference is ratner's film was an action movie that had no heart or emotion

Singer's film actually have a story to tell and have heart
Raffman - 12/23/2010, 8:06 PM

Original Five X-Men please! Thank You!
GrimeKid - 12/23/2010, 8:15 PM
@Raffman Exactly, spot-on

I can't believe some people still insist this WILL be bad, how can anyone know?

It's Matthew Vaughn.... Nuff Said
give it a chance at least
Ronnie11 - 12/23/2010, 8:33 PM
woah...they are still shooting? When is it supposed to get over??This seems too close to the movie..don't they need time to work on the cgi in the movie...waiting for a trailer
P862010 - 12/23/2010, 8:58 PM
@Ronnie they are fine

did you know x men 2 was released 6 months after filming
GrimeKid - 12/23/2010, 9:59 PM
Just noticed one of the jet engines is green, I wonder what they're gonna do with it, on fire maybe?
Dickel - 12/23/2010, 10:26 PM
Is that a pair of tracksuit pants in the 3rd picture? Weird
the99comic - 12/23/2010, 11:09 PM
marvel has better now better movie improve , dc comic was most bored storyline less action see watchmen superman return catwomen maybe next green lantern
asavagevandal - 12/23/2010, 11:59 PM
Nolan learned from the mistakes of the last franchise and gave us Bat-art. I'll bet Vaughn has learned from the mistakes of the last franchise: here's to hoping we get X-art.
asavagevandal - 12/24/2010, 12:01 AM
I don't think Ra's is dead, either. That's his "thing". NOT dying is Ra's Al Ghul's thing.
mattattack - 12/24/2010, 12:28 AM
so this movie is supposed to be coming out in June next year? Yeah right, they are not even done filming and have done zero promotion. No trailer or anything..

I hope Fox doesnt bury this thing by giving it no hardcore promotion... [frick]ing fox..

I am still insanely stoked for first class cause I love Vaughn and have complete faith in him.
LEEE777 - 12/24/2010, 1:39 AM
Nice find and [frick] fox and fist ass!

marvel72 - 12/24/2010, 4:46 AM
the blackbird destroyed, just like my hopes of this film being how i would like it to be.
Knightstalker - 12/24/2010, 7:42 AM
I enjoyed the first two X-Men movies, but after that the whole thing just got bolluxed. Call me an X-Fan.
flames809 - 12/24/2010, 8:03 AM
adamdusza & R8ITR- agree and look at spiderman to they changed a lot of his source materials and people and fans liked it. same goes with ironman, Thor. people here are so [frick]ing hypocritical. cause if ya want the movie to be just like the comic go [frick]ing buy it and imagine it being a live action movie.
dickmastaflex - 12/24/2010, 8:45 AM
I think most if you should watch the x-movies again, cause i got news for everyone they all sucked. I see people saying 1 and 2 had heart, your lying to yourself. I was prob 15 when x-men came out and it was the only respectable cbmovie since batman and robin, when comparing it to that its great when u compare x1 and 2 too movies like ironman, dark knight, watchmen, even spidy2 and incredible hulk the x movies are all jokes. Put them in a boxset with fantastic 4 and Electra and forget about them.

Even if first class is good it will be lost in a summer with amazing movies only because of the lackluster characters. characters that not even hardcore fanboys are dying to see on screen let alone the average movie goer. the x name is tarnished as far as i know if ask a non comic fan what they think about x-men movies they saw wolverine and hated it, prob why they decided to call the new one the wolverine.
Knightstalker - 12/24/2010, 10:34 AM
I guess calling "Batman & Robin" a respectable CBM is a pretty good indicator of what you expect in a comic book movie. While we can disagree on that, I agree whole heartedly about First Class being lost in the Summer 2011 CBM melee. Bad time to release a CBM that many fans have already raised questions about.
dickmastaflex - 12/24/2010, 10:47 AM
haha yeah i wrote that a lil wrong huh my bad it was the first respectable comic movie after the disaster of batman and robin
