wasn't riptide part of the marauders, it really does kinda get annoying when they throw in random mutants. but i will check this out simply because of vaughn

@JoshW have some faith in vaughn the guy did walk out of X3 because the studio were trying to [frick] shit up too much but i agree they have made some drastic liberties with the source material but we'll just have to wait and see i guess, But so did the first 2 and IMO i thought they were good movies, maybe not good adaptions but i enjoyed it

well the original trilogy messed with source material as well lol

no angel or beast apart of the original x men

iceman a student instead of part of the team from the get go

changes with the costumes

liberties with certain characters


but people did'nt care because they were quality movies

the movie looks like it might have more action than the first 3 x-men movies (which is great!). but with them not using the original 5 x-men i won't pay to see it. i'll download it online. to hell with fox!

[frick] Fox is still how I feel though. It'll take more than one half decent movie by a great director to win me around after shit like Fantastic Four!

@ Raffman I agree. I am looking forward to this movie because of Michael Fassbender! If he wasn't cast, then I wouldn't give a shit! LOL

to be honest I do agree that some of things of this movie is just not what everyone expected , and we saw how bad Wolverine was , and yeah it was bad...but lets not compare these two movies together, lets all wait for at least a teaser trailer that is soon to come, then we can bash this film all we want, for now lets just appreciate that they are making a film for all of us to see and judge when it comes out.

Nolan learned from the mistakes of the last franchise and gave us Bat-art. I'll bet Vaughn has learned from the mistakes of the last franchise: here's to hoping we get X-art.

so this movie is supposed to be coming out in June next year? Yeah right, they are not even done filming and have done zero promotion. No trailer or anything..

I enjoyed the first two X-Men movies, but after that the whole thing just got bolluxed. Call me an X-Fan.

I think most if you should watch the x-movies again,cause i got news for everyone they all sucked. I see people saying 1 and 2 had heart, your lying to yourself. I was prob 15 when x-men came out and it was the only respectable cbmovie since batman and robin,when comparing it to that its great when u compare x1 and 2 too movies like ironman,dark knight,watchmen, even spidy2 and incredible hulk the x movies are all jokes. Put them in a boxset with fantastic 4 and Electra and forget about them.

Even if first class is good it will be lost in a summer with amazing movies only because of the lackluster characters. characters that not even hardcore fanboys are dying to see on screen let alone the average movie goer. the x name is tarnished as far as i know if ask a non comic fan what they think about x-men movies they saw wolverine and hated it, prob why they decided to call the new one the wolverine.

I feel the coffin closing on CBM's in general. Marvel got it right with Iron Man but the more and more they change the characters the less I care about seeing the movie (are you listening fox?) I waited 30 years to see the x-men and what did I get? A 6'3 beanpole wolverine. Jackman would be a better suited Kal El. I want to see the characters that I grew up with IN COSTUME. If they want to make these heros realistice then I will just stick to better made movies. The Bourne series, man on fire, ect ect.

Listen im usally not one to trash a movie before it comes out however, nothing from the start seemed good about this movie, besides Vaughan directing it. That being said, it doesnt mean its not going to be good, it just means that I cant get into this movie, would I loved to be surprised by how good it actually turns out , Absolutely, but it more then likely wont, Fox doesnt have it in them , oh and By the way the guy running in the story board kinda looks like a speedster and the only two characters in the X-universe that I know is Quicksilver, and North Star. oh and to chime in to the whole keeping to the source material topic, I dont think you need to keep to the source material but I think you need to keep to heart of the characters, I think the best CB movies do that. I dont want to see a certain storyline ripped from the pages but I want to see the characters being faithful to the characters.
