Despite the promise of the soon to be relaunched series' creative teams being announced at the "Cup o' Joe" panel at this weekend's C2E2, it looks like the guys over at Bleeding Cool may already know who it'll be! The site reports that Greg Rucka and Marco Checchetto, with Laura Martin on colors will be taking charge of The Punisher, while Mark Waid and Paolo Rivera will tackle the Man Without Fear!

Guess we'll have to wait a few days until we find out whether they're right, but I for one like the sound of those creative teams! Check out the teasers below, and be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

If true then disappointing Greg Rucka said he left DC to concentrate on some of his own novels and creator owned comics since doing corporate owned stuff was stressing him out. If he is doing it for some steady money then I can't fault him on that though.

Waid on Daredevil is interesting could be good.

I read daredevil through the brubaker run but stopped when it reached the point of Matt controlling the hand. That just seemed far fetched and uninteresting. Hopefully they can bring the character back to greatness.

Waid is one hell of writer so I am definitely going to check it out.

I still think DD was best in the last half of Bendis and first half of Brubaker, but I'm interested to see where Waid takes it.

Will Json Aaron continue on the PunisherMAX?

Glad to hear Diggle is off of Daredevil. Maybe I can come back now. I love Greg Rucka but PunisherMAX is really all the Punisher anyone needs.

I dont know if anybody else has said it, but is there and wishful thinking that there could be a Punisher cameo in The Amazing Spiderman?

@longbowhunter: I agree, MAX is the best place for Frank, I think they should do away with the watered down version that have to incorperate into regular Marvel continuity all together.

@ Nero, Reading the Punisher in the 616 Marvel universe is alot like dating a girl who wears a promise ring.

I understand what you mean. The Punisher can't kill anyone of note in the mainstream except for third-rate villains like Stilt-Man III. In MAX, he's got free reign to eviscerate anyone he pleases and hang their intestine on a tree.
