In an interview with IGN Movies, the actor talked more about his excitement with being cast in Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman: The Man of Steel, but most interestingly reveals his desire to take over the James Bond franchise as soon as current 007, Daniel Craig, is finished.

In another interview with MTV Splash Page, the actor is quizzed about what he'll bring to Superman with his interpretation as well as just how closely to the comic book it will be. Here is the video and transcription.



It’s true to the source material. There’s so little I can say about it."

"It’s basically just a re-imagining and modernization of an iconic character."

"That’s tough to say. It’s very early days yet. Superman is Superman, after all. There’s only so much of a change you can make to that. It’s certainly, as I say, it’s going to be different, but not so different that it’s unrecognizable. How’s that for an answer?"
