DaenerysTargaryen - 5/1/2011, 6:56 PM
The music made it suck
FlixMentallo21 - 5/1/2011, 6:58 PM
JOSH KEATON as Hal Jordan??? Wow. I actually thought they would've gotten someone like Adam Baldwin (who briefly played Hal in Justice League Unlimited) to play Hal.
Ceejay - 5/1/2011, 6:58 PM
Well that looked Shiiiiiiiiiiit!
UncleDrew - 5/1/2011, 6:59 PM
Looks okay
Mondragon - 5/1/2011, 7:01 PM
The music is just part of some Cartoon Network “Adventure Time” block theme music of many shows of which this is just ONE clip.

Watch the whole thing here- http://www.vimeo.com/22997223?ab

Obviously Green Lantern will have its own epic theme music.
And these clips looked great!
NeoBaggins - 5/1/2011, 7:03 PM
Looks cool. I mean, shit; they can't make every cartoon for adults. Damn. DC is pretty good with their animated stuff. It's just the live-action they can't get out the gate with.

Why the hell do I have to keep loging in every 2 seconds?
Octopussy - 5/1/2011, 7:04 PM
I just realized...my first first!! :)
soaponapope - 5/1/2011, 7:05 PM
saint walker is going to be in it... interesting. also i cant wait for this, Bruce Timm has always gotten it right. superman, batman, justice league.
Mondragon - 5/1/2011, 7:10 PM
It is NOT the music of the Green Lantern cartoon, how do people still not realize this.

Who posted this article should really add a blurb about how they just took one clip edited out of a whole block of Cartoon Network shows.
If you’re going to edit a clip out of context, at least put the context In the description and say where it came from.

Again you can see the whole thing here - http://www.vimeo.com/22997223?ab

vermillion - 5/1/2011, 7:33 PM
Hmmm, not sure about the animation style. Might have to grow on me. Took awhile to get use to Samurai Jack when it first was out, but I loved it after awhile.

Honestly, amazed to even see a GL animated series. I find that awesome in itself. I'll wait to see how the first few episodes go before judging it. Since that was only literally a 7 second clip.

If Bruce Timm is involved, that's all I really need to know.
alexi52 - 5/1/2011, 7:38 PM
i laugh at the music
AlternateNo4 - 5/1/2011, 7:51 PM

I want 7 seconds of my life back
BIGBMH - 5/1/2011, 8:42 PM
It's hard to judge based on such short footage, but it does look a bit iffy. We'll see though. Let's wait to judge until we see more substantial footage.
NeoBaggins - 5/1/2011, 9:12 PM
I thought that ridiculous looking Batman Bold and Brave was going to be shit too. The crazy stories are actually written quite well and I found myself watching it if it's on. Young Justice is great qualty though. But obviously they were going for different style.
ComicBookGoth - 5/1/2011, 9:33 PM
im getting a Armored Adventures feel off of this, and i frakk'in hated that show.
THABATMAN - 5/1/2011, 11:22 PM
Looks kinda... bad. i dont like the animation, but it may turn out to be a good show
comicbookjerk - 5/1/2011, 11:22 PM
WHAT THE F WAS THAT! I love the Inredables but I don't want to see my DC characters imaged as them!
JohnClayBurchett - 5/1/2011, 11:34 PM
Why does everyone not have enough insight to realize that this is a version of GL specifically geared toward the very younger audience. Just like Batman Bold and the Brave which is also terrible. They're doing a more mature animated series as well, but this one will run during prime little kid hours.
Freshkicks1212 - 5/2/2011, 12:04 AM
@JohnClayBurchett where did you get that information about a more adult animated series???
CBMfan001 - 5/2/2011, 1:01 AM
well I have good faith in bruce timm and so far anything related to animation WB has done really well, whether it's dvd movies or tv series. So I think this will be good.
113 - 5/2/2011, 1:35 AM
I hate these crappy cartoon cgi things they do. Use regular animation.
NeoBaggins - 5/2/2011, 1:41 AM
batmanbruce I agree. WB have the animation thing on lock down. The DVD movies are awesome. I rented Wonder Woman sarcastically and was blown away. They've been representing the DC characters in animation nicely for a long time.

I'm not into the DC VS MARVEL bullshit, but I notice how people never mention SUPERHERO SQUAD when they rant about awful, dumb down, baby shit. The HULK was dressed as a Dutch hooker in one episode. If you're not mad at that, you should LOVE this new show.
EditNinja - 5/2/2011, 2:34 AM
7 second pitstop in Oa.
ManOfKrypton - 5/2/2011, 3:02 AM
