Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, "Marvel’s The Avengers" brings together the mightiest super hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time. The star studded cast of super heroes will be joined by Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård.

No one was expecting the following to find it's way online until AFTER the blu-ray's release next month, but after the movie was leaked early in a few countries, we now have "The Consultant" courtesy of Twitter's @antovolk.

@TelaVIzion the next one is "A funny thing happened on the way to Thor's hammer" that got previewed at SDCC. Basically Coulson in a service station while it's getting robbed.

Cool they're keeping the The Incredible HULK events in tact. I hope William Hurt comes back and I'm glad they brought some conclusion to what's going on with Blonsky.

I like it. They just need to change that generic computer program music to a more respectful score. I'm sure Paramount allows the usage of all the scores used in the films. That DVD menu screen music cheapens the one shot. But cool nonetheless.

From the way people have been talking about this, I expected it to be a lot longer, and more than just two guys in a diner.

Two guys eating pancakes for three minutes is roughly 100% more entertaining than the Green Lantern movie.

brilliant, marvel needs to make so much more of these things, they are great for tiny bits of info but are also cheap and easy to make, god i hope they are actually sitting on a big bank of them somewhere. imagine, 1 a week or a month like the comics only released on marvel.com.

@JLA2014 you shouldnt be talking especially if your precious JLA aint making it on screen anytime soon

Fun... So is this the video equivalent of a Retcon or just worthy of a No-Prize? Either way, you can see the need to smooth things over from scenes that were written and filmed long before an Avengers script was finalized. It's really quite clever in that regard.

I thought it'd be a lot then those three minutes as a lot of people have pointed out. It seemed though to be nice tune to connect unknown points into the timeline.

It has made a couple of things a lot clearer

something about that clip is lifeless and dull. the direction is efficient but soulless. i didint really enjoy it. was glad things got tied but but not entertained.

i think a few shots breaking that stereotypical diner scene would have helped. just ambient shots or the agents entering the place. guess the budget couldnt stretch that far :S

SWEET - I love how they connected the Stark x Ross scene.

I also thought it would be longer, but the points made are soooo good.

That's the cool thing in having a single studio connecting the movies... Easter eggs!
