Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster, has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

THOR is released on DVD and Blu-Ray today in the US, and on September 26th in the UK.

That is why they package the Blu Rays with the DVD combo for just a few bucks more....people start saying "well, it's better quality, I'll have a blu ray eventually and I can still watch the dvd"

Just goes to show, if they can afford to put the dvd AND blu ray in the same packaging for 20 bucks, how much of a killing they were making off the DVDs by themselves before when they would come out at 24.99
