In the photos posted last night (you can find them HERE) we caught a glimpse of Rhys Ifans wearing some sort of strange glove on his hand. While many assumed this was perhaps a prosthetic of some sort for the character, a closer image from the reshoots currently taking place courtesy of Mail Online reveals that it is fact a part of his transformation into the Lizard. Just like in the comic books, Connors clearly succeeds in regrowing his missing limb, but this seemingly starts to go wrong as we can see below.
Whether this is his hand regrowing after the experiment or the beginning of him turning into the Lizard isn't clear at this point. However, with Andrew Garfield also spotted on set in a makeshift costume (with web shooters) it seems that their stories will run parallel throughout
