Nicholas Cage Praises Hayden Christiansen's Acting In The STAR WARS Prequels

It seems not everyone hated Christiansen's performances in George Lucas' Star Wars prequels, as the actor's Outcast co-star, Nicholas Cage, was full of praise for his work in the much-maligned trilogy during a video interview with IGN. Check it out...

A terrible script and woeful direction meant that none of the cast of the Star Wars prequels came out looking very good, but Hayden Christiansen (Anakin Skywalker) is usually singled out as being particularly bad. Is that fair? Well, he was lumbered with some of the more eye-rolling dialogue (that course sand scene anybody?) to be fair, but yes, I would have to say he was probably one of the worst things about those movies... no offence there Hayden! But hey, what does that matter when you have Nicholas Cage fighting your corner? While promoting their new movie Outcast, the Ghost Rider actor said some very nice things about his co-star's "edgy, dangerous, dark and still soulful performance" during an interview with IGN.

What do you think? Is Cage on to something? Have we been misjudging Christiansen's acting all these years? Sound off in the usual place.
