What is dead may never die! Those disappointed that we didn't get to see Theon Greyjoy's miserable extended family fight for the title of Lord of the Iron Islands this year on Game Of Thrones might be in luck, as Watchers on the Wall has details from a season 6 casting call which seems to suggest that at least one of his uncles will be making an appearance.

"Pirate, man in his 40’s to late 50’s. He’s “an infamous pirate who has terrorized seas all around the world. Cunning, ruthless, with a touch of madness.” He’s a dangerous-looking man. A very good part this season."

That certainly sounds like Balon Greyjoy's brother Euron, aka "the Crow's Eye" - and if he's debuting there's a good chance his brothers Aeron and Victarion will be too. The next breakdowns aren't quite as obvious, but based on the descriptions it's believed that they refer to Sam's father Randyll Tarly, brother Dickon, and his mother and sister.

"Father. Aged 50’s to 60’s, he’s one of the greatest soldiers in Westeros- a humorless martinet, severe and intimidating. He demands martial discipline in the field and in his home. It’s described as “a very good part” for next year and that he’s “centrally involved” in a protagonist’s storyline.

Mother, in her 50’s. She’s a sweet, plump, and adoring mother, and has a soft spot for one of her children who benefits from her decency.

Sister, in her early 20s. She’s a kind, friendly and unpretentious woman.

Brother, in his early to mid-20’s . Athletic, a good hunter, an excellent swordsman, manly, not particularly bright but the favourite child of the father."

Surely not his father's favourite with a name like Dickon! Anyway, now things get really interesting. The final major breakdowns call for three boys aged 7, 8 and 12; and speculation points to them being the younger versions of Ned Stark, Robert Baratheon, and Brandon Stark. You can read the descriptions for yourselves at the link below, and it definitely seems like a distinct possibility. Since none of those characters are alive, though, what could prompt the flashback? Another one of Bran's visions perhaps? Let us know what you think in the usual place.
