TNT's TEEN TITANS Series Now Reportedly Titled BLACKBIRDS; Shooting Postponed

It seems TNT's upcoming Teen Titans TV series will actually be called "Blackbirds", and we may be waiting a bit longer to see Nightwing and co. in action. Shooting has been delayed.

Last we heard, the Teen Titans TV pilot was set to shoot in Toronto this Summer, but Season Zero reckon that the cameras won't roll until October now. We were expecting to get some initial casting announcements etc pretty soon but it's likely we'll be waiting a bit longer for them now too. In addition, the site reports that the show will now be known as Blackbirds.

The pilot was written by Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes, and is expected to focus on Dick Grayson becoming Nightwing and teaming up with the likes of Barbara Gordon, Hawk, Dove, Raven, and Starfire.

There is a TitansWriters Twitter account you can follow, but aside from the image below it hasn't been very active thus far. Updates as we get 'em.
