The Lord Of The Jungle Roars Into Action In First Trailer For THE LEGEND OF TARZAN

The Lord Of The Jungle Roars Into Action In First Trailer For THE LEGEND OF TARZAN

After those first stills and today's poster we figured a trailer wouldn't be far away, and sure enough Warner Bros. has released our first look at David Yates' take on the classic novel from Edgar Rice Burroughs. See Alexander Skarsgård and Margot Robbie in action after the jump.

The first teaser trailer for The Legend Of Tarzan is here and is predictably enough, a slightly dodgy CGI-fest. That said there are some nice visuals here and there, and the cast look to be game at least. What do you guys think?

The Legend Of Tarzan also stars Djimon Hounsou as Chief Mbonga, Samuel L. Jackson George Washington Williams and Christoph Waltz as Captain Leon Rom. The movie swings into theaters on July 1st, 2016.

I will eat my words now. Season that shit. Put a little miss dash on it. Some ketchup and mustard. A little salt and pepper too.

This looks pretty damn cool. The visuals are amazing!

Why does literally every trailer these days have loud drums and cymbals clanging leading up to some dramatic moment, then cuts to black, then reveals some "money shot"?

Also the CGI on this looks...not great.

This looks fantastic! I love how he moves like the Tarzan from the Disney version. The apes look amazing but yet almost mystical.

Very good cast, but this will be another WB flop.

I like that it's not an origin of some sort since we've seen plenty of that. I'll be honest, trailer is not too shabby. Not sure if it'll top George of the Jungle though. Watch out for that tree Alexander...watch out for that tree.

Thor has garbage CGI? Wha? Destroyer, the Frost rancor, Asgard, the Kronnan, etc all have looked pretty good.

God damn it, I wish these writers would leave their f*cking opinions of these articles. "Dodgy CGI-fest". Your job is to deliver the news. NOT tell us how you think we should feel about it.

looks way to big and epic for a first time out. the budget should have been kept smaller. this looks more like what a sequel should look like. also.... jane really? again? shits been done. thats the problem with tarzan films. always the same thing.

not sure about this one yet. might be watchable at best.

Blanka1212, my job is to deliver the news AND tell you whatever I damn well please about it. I'm not a journalist, and this isn't a trade - I'm a blogger on a comic book website. If you don't like it, you know what to do.
