EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: WB's Gregory Noveck Talks "Jonah Hex" and "Green Lantern" Live Action Film

Marvel may be grabbing all the headlines with "Iron Man 2" and talk of "Thor," "Captain America" and "The Avengers," but DC via Warner Bros. has been quietly ramping things up as well. In this exclusive interview conducted by Media Geek's Edward Gross, WB's Gregory Noveck shares some thoughts on both "Jonah Hex" and the live action "Green Lantern" film.

Robsaggs - 7/6/2009, 6:27 AM
I think he had an orgasm when Martin Campbell's name was mentioned.
EdGross - 7/6/2009, 6:41 AM
Ah, nothing like constructive criticism.
Shaman - 7/6/2009, 6:55 AM

superdog - 7/6/2009, 7:01 AM

AshleyWilliams - 7/6/2009, 7:28 AM
prob zeta jones,a very hot woman
RorMachine - 7/6/2009, 8:02 AM
Great stuff! Very interesting. I think the writers of New Frontier really "got" the Hal Jordan character, and that wasn't even a solo character arc. Hopefully First Flight does a good job too, and obviously, this movie! Im optimistic anyway.
mativ16 - 7/6/2009, 8:14 AM
I'm not sure about Jonah Hex cause I've never heard or read of them. But I really hope Green Lantern is good.
Bandrews1 - 7/6/2009, 8:17 AM
Good news. They just got me more hyped.
spanky - 7/6/2009, 8:31 AM
that is good news
Shaman - 7/6/2009, 8:48 AM
LOL Supdog... seriously??? LOL :P Good one, but i was serious about Dredd :P Aside from Schnider, i loved everything about that movie :)

Worthington will be the next Superman. Mark my words LOL :P
LEEE777 - 7/6/2009, 8:51 AM
SHAMAN @ Good luck wiv that!!! : D

ROUTH is SUPERMAN! ; )
RedDevil - 7/6/2009, 9:08 AM
astonishing interview! it's great to see that the Green Lantern film is going quite well and pre production should begin this month according to imdb.com, so i should expect some update on casting especially for Hal Jordan.
superdog - 7/6/2009, 9:12 AM
schnider rules. didnt you see the animal? top 5 of all time, easily.
thegreek - 7/6/2009, 9:32 AM
This was a fantastic Interview.... GL will Rock ..... " N" Roll..... All day long .... Sweet Susie
Shaman - 7/6/2009, 9:41 AM
LEEE- It's not my pic, i'm pulling for Routh too. Logically though, i'm sure he's in the running. Which is why we haven't heard shit on the GL casting yet. WB's unsure if they'll have Worthington as Hal or keep him around for Superman's reboot!
GUNSMITH - 7/6/2009, 9:44 AM
THE GREEN LANTERN MOVIE WILL BE AWSOME..CMON DC CATCH UP WITH MARVEL..THEY GOT MORE TITLE LINED UP THAN YOU GUYS DO!
longbowhunter - 7/6/2009, 9:56 AM
Nathan Fillion still has my vote. I know alot of you out there think he's too old, but if Robert Downey Jr. can play Iron Man then Fillion for GL.
superdog - 7/6/2009, 9:59 AM
no teabag, im thinking of funny farm....chavy chase rules, top 5 all time easily
LEEE777 - 7/6/2009, 10:14 AM
SHAMAN @ Damn he looks nothing like SUPERMAN???

If you wander on a lot of comic book sites, you'll see a lot of ppl still wanting ROUTH for SUPERMAN! Im sure WARNERS will wise up.

WARNERS should do that SUPERMAN VS DOOMSDAY movie dammit! ; D

Oh my god teabag @ Ive got that POLICE ACADEMY to go, ive watched 1 to 6, now to MOSCOW! : D (Bought the dvd box set) Friggin' funny!

Shaman - 7/6/2009, 10:32 AM
LEEE- If they were as wise as you say they are, they would have done Doomsday a long long time ago. Plus... they made Police Academy: Mission to Moscow. SO yeah, they'll pic Worthington as Superman CAUSE he doesn't look like him :P

Nick Cage ring any bells???
superdog - 7/6/2009, 10:38 AM
you actually saw mission to moscow in the theatres? i didnt even think it was released. they jumped the shark when guttenburg left. guttenburg rules, top 5 actors of all time, easily.
Shaman - 7/6/2009, 11:08 AM
Yes Guttenberg does rule. He did resist the urge to sodomise the olsen twins in it takes two. The man's a god.
LEEE777 - 7/6/2009, 11:38 AM
SHAMAN @

I done a article on SUPERMAN LIVES lol! ; D
superdog - 7/6/2009, 11:47 AM
that movie would have been horrible. so glad it didnt get made. we would have had twisty tim burton trees.

and i saw guttenberg here in the states, only he was going by the name seth rogen.
Shaman - 7/6/2009, 12:05 PM
Teabag- It's a Myth. but he's actually a top 5 actors of all time, easily.

I'm saying he hadn't gotten that far yet... Very time consuming reading these posts.
Robsaggs - 7/6/2009, 5:50 PM
@ EdGross it may not have been constructive but it wasn't a criticism :-D
wolverine81 - 7/6/2009, 9:45 PM
Green Lantern would have to be a massive movie no expense spared.
ThunderCougarFalconBird - 7/7/2009, 10:18 AM
teabag - Going from posts on this and other articles, I'm sure you have at least 6 or 7 movies in your top 5! My maths might not be the up there with Steven Hawkins but I'm pretty sure that has something wrong with it!
spanky - 7/7/2009, 10:30 AM
i hate nick cage, ahg.
darthstern - 7/10/2009, 1:24 AM
