EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: WB's Gregory Noveck Talks "Jonah Hex" and "Green Lantern" Live Action Film

Marvel may be grabbing all the headlines with "Iron Man 2" and talk of "Thor," "Captain America" and "The Avengers," but DC via Warner Bros. has been quietly ramping things up as well. In this exclusive interview conducted by Media Geek's Edward Gross, WB's Gregory Noveck shares some thoughts on both "Jonah Hex" and the live action "Green Lantern" film.

Great stuff! Very interesting. I think the writers of New Frontier really "got" the Hal Jordan character, and that wasn't even a solo character arc. Hopefully First Flight does a good job too, and obviously, this movie! Im optimistic anyway.

astonishing interview! it's great to see that the Green Lantern film is going quite well and pre production should begin this month according to imdb.com, so i should expect some update on casting especially for Hal Jordan.

LEEE- It's not my pic, i'm pulling for Routh too. Logically though, i'm sure he's in the running. Which is why we haven't heard shit on the GL casting yet. WB's unsure if they'll have Worthington as Hal or keep him around for Superman's reboot!

Nathan Fillion still has my vote. I know alot of you out there think he's too old, but if Robert Downey Jr. can play Iron Man then Fillion for GL.

If you wander on a lot of comic book sites, you'll see a lot of ppl still wanting ROUTH for SUPERMAN! Im sure WARNERS will wise up.

LEEE- If they were as wise as you say they are, they would have done Doomsday a long long time ago. Plus... they made Police Academy: Mission to Moscow. SO yeah, they'll pic Worthington as Superman CAUSE he doesn't look like him :P

you actually saw mission to moscow in the theatres? i didnt even think it was released. they jumped the shark when guttenburg left. guttenburg rules, top 5 actors of all time, easily.

that movie would have been horrible. so glad it didnt get made. we would have had twisty tim burton trees.

and i saw guttenberg here in the states, only he was going by the name seth rogen.
