One of the BEST things of THE AVENGERS is when CAPTAIN AMERICA finally leads evryone in battle. Here is Cap's orders to the NYPD and to his fellow Avengers.

Captain America: Sergeant! I want you to station your men in all these buildings, and I need a perimeter all the way down to 39th.

Police Sergeant: Why should I take orders from you?

Captain America: [kills a bunch of enemies]

Police Sergeant: [on radio] I want men posted in all these buildings! And I want a perimeter all the way down to 39th!

Tony Stark: Call it, Captain.

Steve Rogers: All right listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, what we need is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you've got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash.

Clint Barton: Want to give me a lift?

Tony Stark: Right. Better clench up, Legolas.

Steve Rogers: Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal, slow them down. You've got the lightning; light the bastards up.

Steve Rogers: [to Natasha] You and me, we stay here on the ground, keep the fighting here, and Hulk,

Smash!

I already have so much of this movie memorized it's endless just how many quotes people will be reciting for years to come. What are any other perticular parts of dialogue people here found special?

Yeah@0sageMode0 finally seeing Cap lead The Avengers was one of the coolest thing I've ever seen as a comic book geek.
Such great genius banter between Stark and Banner as well just like reading an issue of The Avengers such a phenomenal film.

Cap-"Dr Banner, now would be a good time to get angry"
Banner- "Thats my secret Cap, im always angry"
(something like that)
Loved that bit, one of the perfect comicbook movie moments.

I didn't really mind Cap not saying Avengers Assemble because of his boss leadership orders.

Shouldn't this be in features? Or Editorials? Heck lets just make an Avengers tab. It deserves it.

I liked when Cap handed Nick ten dollars onboard the Hellcarrier as a respons to Nicks comment to him earlier: "I bet you ten dollars that this world has changed a lot more than you thought"
