Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that they've sold 1 million PlayStation 4's in a 24 hr period, with most of those purchases coming from pre-orders. President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Adam House stated, "PS4 was designed with an unwavering commitment to gamers, and we are thrilled that consumer reaction has been so phenomenal. The gaming console doesn't go on sale in Europe and Latin America until November 29. The company estimates that they will have sold over 5 million consoles by March 2014. The chief competition for Sony will arrive on November 22, when Microsoft's XBox One goes on sale.
