SIN CITY Producer Wants A TV Show To Follow Sequel
The Weinstein Company wants a Sin City tv series to quickly follow after the August 2014 release of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Would you want to see such a tv drama or does Sin City belong only on movie theater screens?
“The way to add stability to the [Weinstein Company] is to be in the television business,” said Harvey Weinstein in an interview with The New York Times. The award-minded production company founder went on to name a number of past Oscar winner and contenders from TWC that he would like to bring to television. But he also named a comic book movie. The New York Times went o to report that Bob Weinstein also told them that he's planning to have a Sin City tv series quickly follow Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, with both director Robert Rodriguez and comic book creator Frank Miller aboard the project.
Earlier in November a poster surfaced which had a slight title change for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, retitling the Frank Miller adaptation as Sin City: A Dame to Die For. Since then, there have been conflicting reports about the legitimacy of that poster so for the time being, well continue to call the movie by its original title.
