Last night's episode of The Walking Dead had a truly shocking moment delivered by Carol actress Melissa McBride. Has the series elevated itself to the next level of television drama or was it the show's first true misstep?

That sick bitch had it coming. I would have either:
A) Shot her
B) Leave without her

This show honestly is not any good at all. It was good during season 1 and it has slowly turned into the worst written show on tv and the most over hyped show on tv. I cannot believe the hype an love it gets after under achieving for every season since the first. I'm praying for the day this show gets canceled

Show has too much hack writing now. They just go for shock. The first season was so great, and the surprises were part of the plot. Now, it's just "let's do this shocking thing to make the audience go :O " without any depth to it.

After last night's episode, I'm done with this Walking Dead crap. Show sucks now. At least I still have Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones > Breaking Bad >>>>>>>>> Walking Dead

They had to kill her. Could you imagine if she found someone just like her? It'll be like two Lennys out on the road killing rabbits for shits and gigs.

I stopped watching the show after the last ep before winter break. Once the governor was dead, there was nothing to hold my interest. Season 1 was brilliant, after that it was a sharp decline in writing and story-telling.

People should watch House of Cards, True Detective, The Americans, Game of Thrones, and Arrow. Much better dramas.

Nobody can say for sure if this was the right thing to do, because we don't live in that world.

very eye squinting ep ........... point of ep an even in the comic is that kids aren't meant to be born in a world. it's f'd an it's an indepth view of the human condition :/

I was not surprised by the reveal that Lizzie was feeding the rats to the walkers. however this all could have been developed a lot more,it just felt rushed.

Personally I would have left her alone. I would not have had it in me to kill the kid. Point is she needed psychiatric help, and in that world there was none to be had. Therefore she was way too dangerous to keep around. But as I said, I would not have the guts to kill her. So I would have snuck out in the night & left her there.

Can someone please tell me what makes this show so great. Is it the predictabity? Or the absolute despicable writing which leave them in periods of limbo. 90% of the show is just walking around and killing the occasional zombie, there's usually only 1 or 2 episodes for the last few seasons where actual stuff goes down to build depth and character development. I consider fans of this show delusional, they got sucked in early and they refuse to see the show for what it has become
Zuriel
Zuriel - 3/17/2014, 12:56 PM
I like how people can praise the comic and then hate on the show for doing the exact same thing. The show STILL watered it down. Neither versions are hack writing and Kirkman is heavily involved with the show.

Was it just me, or did you all see the following:

1. Three fresh graves
2. One of the graves with baby shoes hanging from the cross
3. No sign of Judith as Carol and Tyreese walked down the tracks at the end

I took it as they killed Judith too, since Carol mentioned that they couldn't survive with her.

only thing I got from the show last night (other then boredom) was that Daryl is the star of the show and Rick (who should be the star)is 3rd now since Carol has bigger balls then he does.

Okay, seeing in some forums that the baby shoes grave was already there when they arrived at the place.

Zuriel - 3/17/2014, 1:01 PM
Those graves were already there, including the one with the baby shoes, when they got to the grove. Why would Judith have bronzed baby shoes? Tyreese is carrying Judith on his back when they leave. She is in one of those baby backpacks.

When they're walking away in the end, Judith is on Tyresse's back, covered in some blanket.

she's sitting in one of those baby backpacks.
ForMeToPoopOn
ForMeToPoopOn - 3/17/2014, 1:07 PM
I missed that the shoes were bronzed. Ha!

Also, I was referring to when Tyreese suggesting taking Judith himself, and Carol saying that it would not work.
Wonderwolf
Wonderwolf - 3/17/2014, 1:09 PM
Yup a switch. For a child who was so demented that she thought Carol was mad the she pulled the gun on her, not for murdering her sister and admitting she was about to do the same to an infant. A switch. Yuuuuuuup
ForMeToPoopOn
ForMeToPoopOn - 3/17/2014, 1:09 PM
I find comfort in seeing some other folks (in other forums) made the same assumption that I made.

I wonder if they were trying to work late and watch the episode at the same time too. Ha!
