The Planet Of The Apes franchise has certainly managed to hit some extreme high's and low's over the years. That's bound to happen though considering the amount of sequels to the original plus it eventually being rebooted. Twice. Check out the embedded audio file below for a look at the latest film in the re-rebooted franchise, DOTPOTA. And be sure to subscribe to The Weekly Planet on iTunes.

Not surprised. I hear this film is awesome.

This film put every single blockbuster movie this year (and last year) to shame pretty easily.

I saw this yesterday.

It was great. This is easily the best of the 8 PotA movies made.

If they build on this, there is no telling just how far this thing can go.

At this point, there are still too many humans and not enough apes. When they move into the future, as they must, I am anxious to see how that happens.

5/5 stars all the way.

See how that changes, I mean.

Saw it last night. It deserves every penny it makes and every amount of praise it gets. As a life long apes fan I couldn't be happier with this new franchise.

I put Cap, Apes, Edge and X as this year's best movies by far...

I could have sworn He was cast as The Atom for Arrow, not Flash.
