In Summer 2014, the world’s most revered monster is reborn as Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unleash the epic action adventure “Godzilla.” From visionary new director Gareth Edwards (“Monsters”) comes a powerful story of human courage and reconciliation in the face of titanic forces of nature, when the awe-inspiring Godzilla rises to restore balance as humanity stands defenseless.

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).

MrMartinMarvel - 5/13/2014, 2:24 PM
Not bad, anything's better than that giant igauna we got in the 98 version.
Masterpace - 5/13/2014, 2:24 PM
Well I think they choose the best option.

i really like that third one... its like a godzilla zilla mix. i am one of the few that really liked the zilla design. i [frick]ing loved the movie as a kid but now that ive grown up i know its stupid but its still a classic to me. i used to watch it all the time.
AxeEffect - 5/13/2014, 2:29 PM

Ocelot - 5/13/2014, 2:30 PM
The first two are good. Too fat in third. Too much like a T-Rex in the fourth.
GL - 5/13/2014, 2:30 PM
Looks like a giant iguana

The design they chose is perfect. Can't fn wait for this film
JazzBebopHero - 5/13/2014, 2:34 PM
I would be fine with the first art design. It is very close to the original concept. So that would have been cool too.
Demigods - 5/13/2014, 2:35 PM
I like the second and forth designs best
marvel72 - 5/13/2014, 2:37 PM
the one they went with is the best with the first & fourth designs being the next best.
huckfinnisher - 5/13/2014, 2:38 PM
First one is classic but looks too much like a dude in a suit. Fourth is good.
Holmes - 5/13/2014, 2:40 PM
.....................that was close
Thing94 - 5/13/2014, 2:42 PM
patrat18 - 5/13/2014, 2:45 PM

Vegeta - 5/13/2014, 3:03 PM
dat cellulite though!
Devastator335 - 5/13/2014, 3:03 PM
@Berserk That's hilarious! So true.
DeusExSponge - 5/13/2014, 3:04 PM
Last one would have been awesome!
OniGoji - 5/13/2014, 3:20 PM
The one they went with is perfect, these concepts while creative in their own way just aren't Godzilla. Thank god TOHO is deeply involved with this and help guide Gareth/LP to a more acceptable Godzilla design.
jimoakley666 - 5/13/2014, 3:25 PM
The last one would have been ace. Much better than the final film version.
OniGoji - 5/13/2014, 3:49 PM
Not necessarily, it's another far-reach design and wouldn't have been recognizable as a Toho Godzilla. And Toho always wants their Godzilla to be Godzilla. Mess that up again and we have another GINO. The first one is very much Godzilla, really classical, but does look like something that should remain within the 90's (ala the Heisei Series). But I find it nice to see that they know the icon's other incarnation grounds.
SuperCat - 5/13/2014, 3:50 PM
Quit hatin' on '98 chicken legs. LOL.
fettastic - 5/13/2014, 3:52 PM
I really like that last one. I would have been happy with that.
thatcoldblackcloud - 5/13/2014, 4:19 PM
LOL @TheThing1994 ...cutest godzilla ever!
konoyaro - 5/13/2014, 5:05 PM
honestly the final design is perfect for me.
just give me gojirah now!!
xXkryptoniteXx - 5/13/2014, 5:05 PM
Godzilla as a T Rex?
KneelBeforeZod596 - 5/13/2014, 5:08 PM
So everyone who shit on the 98 design is now praising the design that literally looks like a mutated t-rex from Jurassic park?
KneelBeforeZod596 - 5/13/2014, 5:11 PM
I like all of these because I like the idea of different looking godzillas. But, its hypocritical to hate on one design for a reason then like the other for the same reason
Comedian03 - 5/13/2014, 5:11 PM
That last one is actually pretty badass.
KneelBeforeZod596 - 5/13/2014, 5:12 PM
So glad they went with the design they went with. Fantastic looking godzilla
ShelfPorn - 5/13/2014, 5:56 PM
I kinda like the first one, but hey the one they picked has grown on me a lot.
