Concept Art by Wesley Burt

Features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

I personally prefer this design over what we got

Seems more akin with Asylum/City.

Interestein - 5/18/2014, 2:04 PM
Last one would've been better suited.
LEEE777 - 5/18/2014, 2:05 PM
This is what they need on FILM.
InfiniteMonkey - 5/18/2014, 2:11 PM

DrunkenNukem - 5/18/2014, 2:14 PM
In some of them he kinda looks like Jude Law..
DaVinci31 - 5/18/2014, 2:14 PM
Absolutely love the 1800s tone that most of these have . . .

Wouldn't mind seeing the first one on film.

They all look good.
Indy - 5/18/2014, 2:20 PM
nice Designs, remind me of this.
Indy - 5/18/2014, 2:22 PM
they defiantly took look from that graphic Novel
MellanRum - 5/18/2014, 2:25 PM
Really like some of the designs, they make him look like someone who could actually exist and not just a comic book character. Cool stuff.
MellanRum - 5/18/2014, 2:26 PM
Although now that I look closer, it looks like they based the face on Alan Cummings. Weird.
staypuffed - 5/18/2014, 2:30 PM
Fantastic game. Loved Troy Baker's Joker so much.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 5/18/2014, 3:01 PM

WombRaider - 5/18/2014, 3:26 PM

Whenever you change something and convince enough people it's good, it pollutes what was already great that those people never got to see, and forces it on all the rest of us. And people who get their view of the world from TV and movies will eat up something that a real fan of the characters wouldn't. Because they've never seen what was great.
Melkaticox - 5/18/2014, 4:16 PM
Origins was so mediocre compared to the other two :/

To think casuals actually liked it.
JediPhilosopher - 5/18/2014, 4:17 PM
This is why people loved Nolan's movies. Most people have never seen Batman the way it should be. And his movies themselves were good. Not true to the characters, but good movies with interesting charcaters nonetheless. Is that a reason to change the characters? Because he got there first? No. But, despite a bit of Heath, who was a good actor just playing the Nolan-Joker, this Joker doesn't look too far off from the original. Really, these games are doing Batman's universe better than the movies ever have I think.
JediPhilosopher - 5/18/2014, 4:18 PM
I've only actually played the first Arkham game, but I've seen the trailers to all these.
ComicsBornAndBred - 5/18/2014, 4:29 PM
Nice. Def took influence from TDK AND JOKER graphic novel
Facade - 5/18/2014, 4:42 PM
Great concepts. Origins had the feel of City while it looked and played better than Asylum. Best video game series.
mizeatwizad52 - 5/18/2014, 4:56 PM
The designs from this game have been my personal favorite incarnations of Batman and his rogues gallery.
CaptShipwreck - 5/18/2014, 5:34 PM
Wow , fantastic ..... Got a Dennis vibe from its always sunny in philledelphia
Optimus83 - 5/18/2014, 5:36 PM
Cool. ...the Joker
Dotanuki - 5/18/2014, 5:40 PM
Terrific designs. I have to say that I really, really enjoy all of the design work that's been posted on this site recently. Great stuff. Thanks!
Spock0Clock - 5/18/2014, 5:52 PM
For the story Origins was telling, I think something like this would have been better than the final design.

This is a Joker that hasn't completely committed to the flamboyance of costumed crime. A Joker that is testing the waters of how to remain menacing while embracing a gimmick.
ScabbyJ - 5/18/2014, 6:38 PM
Agree w/ Spock ^^^ to a degree. I don't think it's a gimmick so much as he just hadn't found that suit yet. I think in a new Batman movie, I'd like to see Joker in a variety of different outfits. This ^^^, a plumber, on Hawaiian vacation, police uniform with blood on it, then the purple suit at the final/climactic showdown.
ScabbyJ - 5/18/2014, 6:41 PM
Hell, if they want to go the make up route again, or even just the pale white face, have him play around with his makeup and hair to look like a variety of different joker incarnations.
ScabbyJ - 5/18/2014, 6:43 PM
Like on one he smear blood across his face to make a smile, another he can put on lipstick, etc.
KalElOdinson - 5/18/2014, 8:30 PM
Some of the black and white sketches look like a metro sexual Ronald McDonald. Lol
MrStarLord - 5/18/2014, 9:01 PM
He looks like Nic Cage here
G3n3r4lzZoD9 - 5/19/2014, 3:03 AM
@Jedi
Will you cut the crap for just a milisecond, you´re the same person that enjoys the Starwar prequels.
