And just like that...interest is dead for me outside of the film being in the MCU.

Ugh i'm still sad over Wright being canned

I'm glad Edgar Wright left. Now he can direct BANNAMAN! Bring it!

But in all seriousness, as much as I love & trust Marvel. I feel they're just picking a "yes" man. I hope it turns out for the best but you just never know.

So uh, is this a good choice? I liked the Agent Carter one shot but I don't know if the guy can direct Ant-Man. Seriously wished Edgar Wright didn't leave, stupid creative differences!

Interesting, I believe he also directed the Item 47 one shot.

I'll take an Edgar Wright film over some generic Marvel movie thrown together.

Great producer. Not a good enough director for this. Don't [frick] this up, Marvel.

His tweets read more like his sources say a new director has been chosen, not that Esposito is the strongest candidate. He calls that a guess three times.

im still dissapointed in wright leaving..its just very dissapointing..im still optimistic about this because it has a great cast and a good idea ..i just hope they hire a good director who can give us a good film..it just wont be with edgars wright unique style and thats dissapointing.....goddamn it....i was not concerned at all for this a bout a week or so ago but now its the only thing im worried about coming out of the MCU camp, im loving the guardians trailers and hopefully it is successful and good..the netflix shows look great, avengers age of ultron sounds great even though it does seem a little overcrowded but i think whedon will be able manage it all

Go Wright or go home!

It would be an interesting choice, he has been the executive producer of all Marvel films produced to date, and has a lot of experience as first assistance director. Maybe is about time Marvel gives him a chance at directing a flick.

D'Espisito makes sense cuz hes in house and if everything is already prepped, he can cleanly just go and execute.

it is a guess so he has not been contacted or gotten confirmation from his sources ,i would even go with james gunn at this point, even though its not happening, also speaking of gunn..he had an interesting tweet...

I would much prefer the guy who directed the all hail the king one shot. Not a fan of the Esposito directed shorts
