Our friends over at henrycavill.org have received some cool images of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sets under construction in Michigan. They report:
One of the buildings has the “S” shield spray-painted on it. It may be part of the rumoured scene where graffiti is cleaned off the giant Superman statue. You can see that there is a cream-colored building behind the green screen. Our source tells us the giant green screen actually resembles a football stadium with bleacher seats! - henrycavill.org

This is very intriguing news as you'll remember all the way back in October of last year Zack Snyder Zack Snyder shot Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice footage at East Los Angeles College. It involved a football game between Gotham City University and Metropolis State University. At that time, fresh-faced newcomer Ray Fisher hadn't been part of the cast. As you'll remember, he was cast in April to play the role of Victor "Vic" Stone, who will later become Cyborg. Before Vic became the half-human half-robot superhero he was a football star. Seems reasonable to believe that these additional football scenes might include him. What do you think?

Wouldn't be a Batman movie without chaos at a football game!

I was at that football scene at ELA college stadium! I hope the scene doesn't get cut.
yossarian - 6/24/2014, 11:06 AM

Not sure if those are shortened buildings, or just normal sized buildings within a large hole in the ground . . .
Klone - 6/24/2014, 11:16 AM
The context of this scene intrigues me. Seems to be hyped to simply be more than a background event.
Klone - 6/24/2014, 11:16 AM
I still refuse to get excited for the film itself after the last evil deception.
blackandyellow - 6/24/2014, 11:18 AM
Or maybe this confirms that Troy Polamalu is actually Superman in real life.

What's up with that S painting on the roof?
VisionaryNPA - 6/24/2014, 11:35 AM
I mean, wasn't it a give-in @Omega @Nail?

They film scenes with football players, Victor Stone is a top quarterback.

GIVE-IN.

i MEAN, come on. This isn't 'speculation' or a 'rumor'

Victor Stone cameo, football scenes being shot, football scenes being shot earlier than shooting had started. They wanted to get Ray Fisher in their before anyone knew he was Cyborg/Victor.

Selonian

correct sir
TheDuck - 6/24/2014, 11:37 AM
ITS GONNA BE VICTOR STONE'S CAMEO!!! HE'S A FOOTBALL PLAYER
VisionaryNPA - 6/24/2014, 11:38 AM
I'm excited we're getting Cyborg... ERRR Victor Stone's origins (of sorts).

It's really cool though, because I was watching Justice League: Doom, and Victor was Cyborg, and got recruited as a JL member, AND Martian Manhunter already was a founding member.

We need Martian Manhunter. I loveeee his character.
Starfox - 6/24/2014, 11:39 AM
@Omega LOL!

LAsBruceWayne - 6/24/2014, 11:45 AM
LMAO, I get so amused when Soccer fans try to argue it being a superior sport to both Football & Basketball. Stuff evolves.. Including sports. There is a reason Basketball is the fastest growing Sport in the world. The World is finally catching up. & The World Cup is more rooting for your Country than rooting for Soccer.
