The last five Bond films: The World Is Not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002), Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008) and Skyfall (2012) have all been co-written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Skyfall was supposed to be there last entry in the Bond franchise but they've been recruited to work on John Logan, who also co-wrote Skyfall, for Bond 24. As expected, the additional rewrites will cause a delay in production. People are getting on with their work, but we have to wait for the script, so filming won’t begin till December, a few months later than they wanted."

BOND 24 will be directed by Sam Mendes ("Skyfall"), from a screenplay written by John Logan. The cast will include: Daniel Craig as James Bond (007), Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. The film will be released in the UK and US on October 23, 2015 and November 6, 2015, respectively.

Make the best film you guys can, and I love Skyfall. I believe Skyfall is the only Bond film that have watched completely. I want to get that badass Bond box set so I watch all of them.

Just make the best possible movie you can, don't want a rushed movie. Gotta keep the best spy franchise kicking with quality.

Love casino royale - it's perfect. I like skyfall but it has a few problems.
Other than that- these guys blow.

"Die another day" was cool in the first half - but went to shit when Halle Barry showed up. Now granted - she ruins everything that's not billy bob thortons boner- but the second half of that movie was unpardonably stupid.

Skyfall was great so I'm willing to wait. Too bad James Bond isn't American because then he'd really be awesome.

If by awesome you mean fat...
OpticBlastWins - 6/27/2014, 7:43 AM

You know who'd be the best Bond?
Yep...Hal [frick]in' Jordan!
Doopie - 6/27/2014, 7:47 AM
They should make a movie where bond dies/becomes the bad guy and a new person gets the codename 'James Bond' and the call-sign 007. It would explain the long list of Bonds over the years

Better hurry, Craig is 46 and he isn't aging well.

@Doopie it takes 3 to forgive!
cmay13 - 6/27/2014, 9:53 AM
These guys suck. Casino Royale was great because of Paul Haggis' writing and Skyfall was great because of John Logan's writing. The other three sucked because of them...and Marc Forster
Creasy47 - 6/27/2014, 10:07 AM
Worrisome, terrible idea. Don't forget, these guys also did Die Another Day, so their slate isn't completely perfect. Logan's first draft was finished in March, so why did it take them all this time to bring back these two to humor it up and delay filming (and possibly the release date)?
FordEl - 6/27/2014, 10:30 AM

Skyfall was average at best. I wish they had gotten better writers for it.
JediPhilosopher - 6/27/2014, 12:32 PM
I can't figure out why I don't like James Bond much. Even at best, it's just mildly entertaining to me.
typicalfanboy - 6/27/2014, 1:35 PM
So which batman movie plot will they steal now?
Alfredo27 - 6/27/2014, 1:50 PM
Please get a new bond craig sucks
mgeoff88 - 6/27/2014, 3:52 PM
I thought Skyfall was great.

If they want to take the time to make sure the script meets their expectations, I don't mind filming being delayed.
Titanace - 6/28/2014, 3:11 PM
I enjoyed Skyfall. Makes sense to have the same people at the helm given its success...
